I have two of these large storage containers (130 gallon). They are about 8-10 years old. The older one holds pool chemicals and the arms and lifter arm had corroded due to the pool chemicals. I contacted the company in hope they still have replacement parts. Not only did they have the replacements but the sent them to me free of charge! I didn't ask for them for free and I did ask what the cost would be. Maybe it is included in their warranty but they certainly could have said no because of the reason they went bad. Both boxes exteriors still look great and this company, by standing behind their products, made them a great purchase.

I bought the Deck Box (60012) two years ago, but recently damaged the cover. I assumed the cover was less expensive than a new box, so I called customer service. Not only was it much cheaper, the Customer Service Rep, Alfonso, offered to send one free of charge. You cannot beat that kind of service! I will always consider Lifetime products first. Perfect for storing equipment and tools outside. Easy to assemble. However, I needed to drill out one of the hinge bolt holes, get the bolt thru. Perhaps caused by me not fully seating one of the side panels. You might want to hold off screwing in the four side screws until you have confirmed the hinge holes align; if you don't have a drill handy. No big deal and the unit is water tight.

I put this container on our patio to store items we use outdoors it is very solid and waterproof. To make it somewhat wind resistant I placed three round concrete sidewalk pavers on the bottom making it hard to slide. This is an attractive, solid storage container well worth the price!

I purchased the 130 gallon outdoor storage box in late 2019. Assembled easily and was very happy with the quality,fitment and finish. Well, in the summer of this year (2020) I had a squirrel decide it needed to find out what I stored inside the box. The varmint preceded to chew to large holes in opposite corners of the lid. Bummer right. Figured I would contact Lifetime to order a new replacement lid no matter the cost because as the box sat it was now just going to fill with water anytime it rained. So, I called Lifetime customer support and left a message with my contact info so as they could return my call as soon as an operator was available. CS returned my call within 45 mins. a the gentleman that called was just as kind and helpful as could be. I explained my situation with the squirrel and without a single trace of skepticism he promptly took all my mailing information, did a quick search of the part number of the lid and again, without hesitation told me they would be sending out a replacement lid within 2 days....and get this...FREE!! Yes FREE!. This included shipping cost and everything! Wow, who would of thought. I commend Lifetime and their customer support for being just a great American company! Thanks, you made me a literal Lifetime fan for a lifetime. Will promise to only purchase this type of item without hesitation when the time comes and will reccomend this great company to anyone else I come across looking for a quality product supported by excellent customer service. I really like this deck box. It was easy to put together. It closes perfectly. The only question I have is longevity. You are screwing metal screws into soft plastic. I am concerned how long it will hold up. If it lasts I would up my score to a 5 because it is so fuctional. I put it together by myself in less than a half hour.

Looked at lots of reviews and went with this top recommend deck box ... please don't pass this one by due to the negative feedback about difficult hardware ... husband put it together in 10 minutes ... great item that is attractive, sturdy, and quite roomy

This deck box was easy to assemble with a few tools. It looks stylist and sturdy on our front deck. We are keeping under the roof of the deck to extend its life. I like that it is made in the USA!!! It holds four full cushions with room for a small tote with essentials like paper towels, bug spray, candle, etc.

This is a great product. It's quite heavy and you need two people to put it together cause it's too big and awkward for just one person. But it goes together easily and is very sturdy. We bought a padlock for it, but I think the lock is just for show cause it would be easy to just break the lock off. We are going to use it for camping, and don't plan to put anything valuable in it. I sprayed the seams with bug spray, cause I think some could get in, but that's just me and bugs:). I love the product.

The product was easy to construct and it fits nicely onto our outside deck. We had heavy rains last night and everything stayed dry. I had purchased one in 2011 and that one is still in great shape and doing it’s job fine. Would highly recommend this one which I just purchased over others I saw online. The price is good and the quality is equally good.
