Upon arrival, we attempted to put the box together but we received the wrong screws. So, we had to make a trip to the hardware store. After having all necessary parts, the box was very easy to put together. We thought the product was slightly on the pricey side in comparison to other boxes close in size.

I bought this Outdoor Deck Box years ago. The hinges broke and I called the company. I was advised that the company would honor the warranty. The parts arrived-Free of Charge-in a short period of time. I appreciate a company that is easy to deal with when the need arrives. Thank you.

The box itself is great and looks good sitting out I like it as narrower and longer. . It would not be useful for beach chairs, etc. It was a big job to get it together. The parts did not want to slide into place and catch. Finally used some Vasoline. Very happy when completed. Good quality!

I puirchased two Lifetime Heavy-Duty Outdoor Stgorage Deck Boxes (Model: 60012) almost six years ago. They are outside in the pool area and look as good as when I bought them. Being in Florida, we have a lot of humidity and salt air so I am replacing the metal hardare to make the boxes almost brand new. We keep pool chemical and pool equipment in one box and pool toys and accessaries in the other. We are extremely pleased with our Lifetime storage deck box purchases! The customer service agent that assisted in ordering the replacement hardware was outstanding. Friendly, professional, knowledgeable, and efficient.

Luckily my cousin was visiting from Geneva so, he quickly assembled this beast. took him 20 minutes - the hinges were perhaps the most challenging but, no biggie. I have yet to see how waterproof this box is because I only just got it and really cannot leave a fair review without at least one year going by to test it so, alas, I shall wait one year.

This is a great deck box! The floor pan, walls, and lid is double sided. The box is rigid; including the lid. The lid has hydraulic struts so the lid opens easily and stays open. To give you and idea of the interior size, you can fit (10) 5 gallon water bottles. I cannot give you an answer about water tightness since it hasn't rained since i purchased the box. I did put a bead of silicone caulk around the entire box where the floor pan joins the walls to prevent any critters finding there way into any tiny cracks and from any water that might get in from when I hose down my patio.

I bought this 4 years ago and it continues to look and work nicely. We store pool chemicals in it and the chlorine fumes pretty much destroyed the metal hinges. Four years later, no problem - they sent a free pair f hinges out to replace the old ones. Looks as good as new inside and out.

went together easily. The languages could have been separated. In the front were the lock goes it could have metal reinforcement and a small lip to help it with weather resistance. the lid has some different shading from the molding process. I added some small pieces of weather strip inside to make sure no bugs get in but it may not be needed. It seems to be great for the cushions and I've had no problem with any water inside for months few weeks I have owned it. It looks like it could use stronger shock but I have had no issue with them yet.

Even after having the product for a year before opening as well as not purchasing the product from the manufacture it was quick and painless to get some parts that were missing from the box. They did not have to do that however they did it as a courtesy without cost now that’s service!

Was looking or a good sized storage box to hold paint tins, tools, power washer and other loose items in our garage / games room - something that would keep them safe and tidy. Went for the Lifetime 130 gal as it was sold by many quality retailers and got good write up in reviews. Instructions state that assembly is a 2 or even 3 man job, but I found it simple to put together on my own. Follow the instructions carefully and it should take less than 30 mins. The main thing you need to watch is not to over tighten the bolts and make sure you have a socket wrench as some of the bolts are tricky to get at. Materials are solid and fit together well. All fittings, bolts and hinges are included. The lid can be secured with a padlock. The only thing I would have liked to see was some metal reinforcement around the padlock clasp which is made of the same Poly material as the box itself. Overall, very happy with this box, which should last years.
