I have 4 of these 130 gal deck boxes, 1 80 gal, and 1 150 gal boxes. The lid of one of the 130 gal boxes got damage from falling tile when my house was re-roofed. I called Lifetime to find out if I could buy a replacement lid and to my surprise the customer service agent offered one at no charge. I just received the lid this morning less than a week later. Thank you Lifetime.

I bought this to store patio furniture in and have been very pleased. My son put it together without any problems. We have had several rains since I put the cushions in the box. Although it is under an awning, it still gets wet under there but my cushions have stayed dry and ready to use.

I usually love my Lifetime products. The box works great as expected. I do have a small dent in a side panel (likely from shipping), and I also have some scratches on the lid (likely from the hinges/bolts/screws sliding around during shipping). Not a deal breaker. The biggest issue I had was when I was I was connecting the latch system. The back and side are placed onto the bottom with a tab the inserts and slides. However, a gap existed about 1/4 inch on the back piece. This made the back 1/4 higher that the right side. The latch mechanism was now about 1/4 of an inch higher and the bolt holes did not align. I eventually had to place the box on an uneven ground to twist the box enough to get the bolts through the proper holes. I am concerned over time the bolt will pull through the plastic on the side. Other than that, the construction of the box was easy. The lid fits tightly down. Overall I am satisfied (perhaps if I bought it in the store, instead of having it shipped, the other issues would have been fixed).

I purchased this for storage on my dock for boat covers and miscellaneous boating "stuff" such as skis, tow ropes, tubes and extra life jackets. Holds a great amount of material. Assembly went well even though just detailed drawings for each step. Took about an hour and a half with no outside help. Be careful not to over tighten the screws when using a socket wrench as you can easily strip the plastic threads cut by the screws. I would stop the second the screws feel pressure of being tight. I did not strip any but could have if not careful. This is a very well made and strong storage unit but bear in mind it is not a steel safe even though it is lockable. A great asset to any deck or dock.

Pleased with the aspect of its being sturdy and waterproof (to store sports equipment, chair cushions, tablecloths) and able to be set more or less inconspicuously along the edge of the patio. We don't use it as a bench, but you're supposed to be able to. It can work as coffee table/hassock or as a surface to set things on if you're not opening and shutting it frequently. Price was quite reasonable. Came quickly and in good order.

A dock box I had was no longer warranted but had an issue with the hinges. They had rusted through and causing rust to run down the dock box. They backed up their product and immediately sent out new hinges for the dock box. They back up their name "Lifetime" Thank you!

The only thing we wished it has was dividers?? We are putting outdoor toys, trucks, sports items, etc. It would be nice if you can buy dividers or bins that fit inside. But other than that...easy to build, closes fine, and the automatic stay-open is perfect for our kids.

I was so exited when I saw the quality. It was so heavy and appeared to be a great product. First out with the instructions and away we go. Problem 1 there were hard pieces of dark plastic blocking the holes where you slide the sides down in 3 different holes np. My husband took those off because I couldn’t get them off as they were well attached. Easy next step insert sides, side 1 piece of cake problem 2 side 2 would not go into insert. My question should the insert be bigger or panel insert smaller so we took apart panel 1 and tried it as we all ready knew it was the right size. Doesn’t fit! Now I have a 130 gallon storage box sitting in my living room waiting for a new panel ffs can no body do any thing right anymore. Then we proceed to put the screws in place so I can finish it by myself when the panel comes. No indent for screws so they tend to go crooked. There are only 2 indents and those went in fine the rest were stressful. I have bought many unassembled items including bbqs and have never came a crossed such poor workmanship for such an expensive item. Pay more get more is not at all the case with this. The only reason I’m giving it 2 stars if for quality which I would say is a 5 star. Very disappointed!

My husband and I were very happy with our purchase. It is very sturdy as described. He had an easy time putting it together, and he will be the first to say he is not by any means, a handyman around the house. For us, the size is perfect for storing our outdoor deck cushions and pillows etc. Yes, we are very pleased with our purchase. We would highly recommend this company.

This is a very nice deck box. It is very well made and was easy to assemble. I keep yard equipment inside, shovels,pick axe, post hole digger, a maul etc. A lot of very heavy tools and the box didn't even flex. It allowed me to downsize the amount of clutter in my garage. Great box!
