We bought this and cut our own steaks and I don’t think we’ll go back to buying pre-cut steaks. The meat is delicious and we saved about 70 bucks doing it this way so that was awesome and it really wasn’t too much work to cut them up and freeze them! I do wish there was a little more fat trimmed before being sold but not enough to remove a star!

Got 14 huge steaks out of it. Wonderful flavor. Leftover pieces and trimmings go into a beef stroganoff.

If you like New York strips, this is exactly for you. The cost of precut and packaged New York strips is a waste of money. Everyone has a knife and a cutting board to cut steaks as thin or thick as you like. Vacuum seal and enjoy when you like.

I buy whole portions, because I like to cut my own steaks and vacuum seal them. Very good marbling and very tender, if you know what you're doing. They keep quite a while sealed. last week I had rib-eye, I sealed last year, and it's fine. I'm getting a whole Rib-eye today.

This was a huge piece of meat. I cut into two roasts. Great quality!

I bought one of these roasts last week, it was SOO good. I roasted it with coarse salt and fresh garlic on the fat, cooked it fat side up. DELICIOUS I will buy it again

It was a lovely cut of beef. I do fairly well on the grill, but this meat seemed a little tough. It was cut into about 16 steaks. The price went up dramatically since last purchase.

Meat came with bones still attached. I would NOT have chosen this piece of beef at the store due to excessive fat. You should consider better trimming. A fifteen pound piece of meat should not have five pounds of fat at 9.00 a pound.

What you see is not what you get. The above picture is of a well trimmed whole New York strip. What you get has at least 30% of a fat rind on it. Once you cut this off, you might as buy one steak at a time. There is really no cost savings.

Had an abscess in the meat. Very low quality in general. Sam’s used to be the best.
