I've had these composters for several years, and when some parts rusted I could not find the receipt, but contacted Lifetime to see about how to get replacements. They still had my information on hand from a previous contact and immediately ordered replacements for me under warranty. I love the composters themselves, too. It's great to have two bins, so that one can be finished while adding more raw materials to the second.

I just had to send some pictures of the items needing to be replaced and they quickly responded and shipped out the needed parts. AT NO COST - what a welcomed surprise. I have a double bin rotating composter that rusted with time, which is expected since it's kept it outside in the rain, but the hinge broke. I emailed customer service and within a week they sent me replacement hinges will all the accessories!!! I am amazed by their excellent customer service and standing behind their products!

A local school gave this composter to me and it needed a little doctoring. I called to order some parts and they were promptly delivered, GRATIS! Great customer service. Keep the metal greased and oiled and the tool will do you well. Thank You Lifetime.

I have 2 of these composters, giving me 4. I like having 2 so you can start one and then work an another when that one is full so you can keep composting. I put i grass clippings, leaves, kitchen scraps and even a little dirt to keep it going. I found that oak leaves don't compost well so brake them up if you use them. I also found that keeping it moist made it work a lot faster. I would add water to it weekly if it got to dry and it would compost a lot faster. Setting it up was a bit of a chore but they are solid and work well. I have used them for a year and half and I got some really good compost. It does take time though. It took me about 6 months. If I had known to keep it moist I could have done it faster. It's been nice not to waste my grass clipping and kitchen scraps and leaves in the garbage. I'm getting good soil and it's rewarding.

It will be hard to say enough great things about the Customer Service Dept any Lifetime. They responded quickly and provided parts for this composter for a know issue. Way to stand behind your products. I will look for ways to buy more of your products in the future.

Bought this awhile back and started to assmble it, then realized ALL the parts for the hinges were missing! So it has been sitting in the bakyard unused! Will definitely call Customer care for them, soon, and order extra the hinges as reviews here say that they need replaced sooner than expected! It loooks pretty durable so we are looking forward to using them!

The email communication, service and delivery was very good. And I do like my composter !!

I enjoyed putting the composter together with my girlfriend. It definitely helps to have two people to put the product together. It took us about 7 hours. It was not a continuous 7 hours, but the construction took place over a period of a week. I am legally blind so there was an excuse not to get it done in 2 hours. I have it setting outside and it is already loaded with composting material. Thanks for the product. My girlfriend was excited due to the fact we did not have any parts left over.

Really like the ability to have two rotating chambers that can house compost in different degrees of completion. Rugged construction and the black housing attracts and retains heat. Rear hinge seized after 2 years but customer service is sending new ones, so I'm happy and satisfied.
