The hinges for the Composter had rusted through so I called the Customer Service. The wait on the Customer Service Line was a little long, but as soon as I was able to connect with Drocha everything worked out pleasantly. She asked me to provide her with pictures of the rusted out hinges and within 2 days they were in my mail box. She was a pleasant and thorough.

I have had my composers for a few years now. The hinges rusted out after a few years. I thought I was out of luck and needed to find a new option. Luckily I checked out their website and called customer service. They sent me replacement hinges free of charge and I received them within a few days of calling. The service was friendly, easy and prompt. I am really impressed!

I bought the double barrel compost bin over a year ago. I should have kept the hinges greased, but I didn’t, and one of them rusted together. When I opened the door one day it broke. I Emailed Lifetime thinking I would have to buy parts but before I knew, they were sending me parts at no charge, ( warranty ). It’s nice to see there are still companies that care about their customers and their product reputation. Thanks Lifetime.

We’ve had our composter now about two years, and always leave the doors facing up, however despite doing that, the hinges that open the doors became rusted, and one finally broke, causing the door to fall off as soon as you loosen the clasps. I called customer service and they sent 2 replacement hinges just in case the other breaks. Customer service was friendly and there wasn’t any hassle getting the issue resolved. We were able to replace the hinge and it’s back to working order again!

I have had this composter now for over 5 years and is has been working great. This has been sitting out in the weather full time and just now had to replace a couple of parts that are getting close to rusting out. I live in Houston with 90% humidity most of the year and I would have expected more trouble. Called into customer service and they replaced the parts free of charge. I have owned Lifetime products for many years and have always been pleased with the products and customer service.

I am pleased with the product. But I’m disappointed that I got two instead of just one that I ordered. So far no one has picked up the return for credit even though we have followed instructions to the letter for return. Please help me get this done.

We have the double bin rotating bin and love it. However, being in the Hawaii weather, the hinges rusted off in less than a year. We reached out to Lifetime and Dany responded within 24 hours, and within 3 days, we had two complimentary replacement sets of hinges. We now add a little oil to prevent the rust. The customer service is excellent and I will definitely purchase more Lifetime products.

I purchased my tumbler several years ago. It has provided outstanding service with negligible maintenance. During the Winter and because of non gardening commitments I left the tumbler unused; this resulted in some corrosion and seizing of the metal hinges. Had I lubricated the hinges I would not have had a problem. I contacted Lifetime anticipating a charge for replacement parts and was given new hinges at no cost. The level of service provided by Lifetime, in today's marketing environment, amazed me. Thanks to Lifetime I now have what effectively is a brand new tumbler.

As others have said, assembly is a pain. Tons of tiny parts, ikea furniture is a dream compared to this. Delivery came a week early which was great. Have only had this a week or so, can’t review its functionality but seems to be doing a it’s job. Comes with a clear instruction booklet for how to compost well.

Being able to rotate the composter speeds everything up. During the summer here in Ohio (may-august) I can create a drum of compost every month. I use one for grass clippings and horse manure while the other has both plus vegetable kitchen scraps. Keep the hinges oiled, or they will rust. Lifetime service and support is AAAAA#1
