Every avocado I've ever purchased from Sam's Club is perfect. You have to wait a couple days for them to be ripe before you can enjoy them. But they are worth the wait!

Affordable! they last me a good 2 weeks. I let them rip on the counter for about 2 days then I put then in the fridge and enjoy them slowly as guacamole or added to salads, soups or just plain.

As a frequent complainant about the quality of avocados in the past, I feel it is only fair to report that my most frequent purchase of avocados, I was pleased to find they were not bruised and they ripened to a nice creamy uniform texture with very good flavor. A definite and welcomed improvement.

I bought these avocados on May 24, 2026 and I went back to the store like a week later and the price went from $3.27 a bag to over $6.50 per bag. Like the price literally doubled and you’re not saving any money buying bulk as opposed to buying it from a traditional grocery store at this point.

We use these to make Avacado spread as a butter alternative. They also make unbelievable Guacamole, are terrific on salads, toppings for tacos, stuffing for burritos, and love them in enchiladas. So versatile, so healthy and packed with healthy fats, vitamins and minerals. These are one of the tastiest and most versatile super foods all in one economical package. Fabulous value for the money and they are always fresh and top quality. 5 stars from us.

They never have the prices correct for the avocados, they say one thing on the sign and come up to another price on the scan and go or at the self checkout. Bottom line is they never match the marked price it's always 40 to 50 cents and it makes a difference when it's everyone paying more.

I've been buying avocados from Sam's for over a year and have been so impressed with the quality, except for the last month. (Writing this review 10/26.) I have thrown out nearly every avocado from six weeks because they are stringy and rotten around the pit, even before the outside feels soft. I asked my California friend with the green thumb (and avocado trees) what it could be and he said this batch was harvested too early and probably stored at temperatures too cold that it damaged the avocados. I hope Sam's does some quality control and looks at the horrible reviews from the last month or so. I wouldn't waste the money on these until a new harvest shows up.

Hard to ripen. Do not ripen completely.

Pricey but worth it, better than anything I can get at the grocery store.

They were to ripe have to throw them to trash
