Love Sam's Avocado's. They are just the right size and usually ripen perfectly. Ordered online for pick up and whoever picked my order picked the mushiest, ripest one of the lot. I took them back and they exchanged them for me with no problem. I just went and got another patch that were green not ripe yet.

Each one of the 5 in the group aged perfectly. I stored all in the fridge to keep them from deteriorating too fast, and kept cut halfs face down in a plastic bag with lemon juice in fridge and enjoyed each and every truly perfectly bright green delicious half with no exceprions!

I usually handpick my own veggies at Sam's. Since I had my Puppy with me, I did an online curb service and my avocados were picked for me. That was 2 weeks ago. 2 days ago I thought one was ripe so I cut into it. It was still hard inside and I ended up trowing it away. Today I cut open another. Soft on the outside and hard inside.

I have bought avocados here before that were fine. However, this most recent bag didn't ripen properly. After sitting on the countertop for a week and a half (10-11 days), they were still mostly hard. I expect ripening by the end of a week at most. I cut open the last one today, it was still quite hard after more than 2 weeks (had to cut it off the pit with a knife).

Nice and big and creamy. The only negative thing I can say is they were all r ready to eat. I feel they should have been marked down because there were at least 3 boxes stacked besides the display. Top 2 the same ripeness. I wondered about the waste they were going to have.

It is so hard to find decent avocados anywhere. I bought these had was so pleased, I was able to use them just a couple days after purchasing them and they lasted all week. The last one was just as perfect as the 1st one. No brown spots when I cut it open. This is on my weekly shopping list

I have been buying these regularly.gor over 3 months. Initially, they were great. From about a month or so ago, some started to take a long time to ripen and by that time, they had gone bad. Some were so fibrous that they were not edible. In any bag, maybe 2 or 3 are like this. And they have become more expensive, so I have been throwing away such expensive fruit of $1.4 -$1.6 each because they are just so bad.

I've ordered these for curb side pick-up frequently and have always been pleased with the quality and freshness of the avocados. The fruit is consistently a large size, ripe but not overly ripe with a creamy flesh. With fresh produce, especially, having a store shopper select my product can be concerning, but to be truthful, the Sam's Club shoppers in store #6314 in Sheffield Village, Ohio have never let me down.

It is easier to buy the avocados by the bag. A bag stops other customers from handling individual avocados. It is much more sanitary. Once we take the avocados out of bag, they are placed in a bowl until the avocados feel soft. Now each avocado is wrapped in aluminum foil. The avocados are then put into the refrigerator until ready to use.

These are consistently great avocados! I purchase these almost every week and am never disappointed. They are so creamy and smooth. I've purchased avocados from several other stores and they are never as good as the one's from Sam's. These will remain on my weekly shopping list!
