Don't buy the avocado from Peru! Within the last 6 months, I've been getting 2 okay avocados out of 5 in a bag. Usually these are watery, and tasteless on the good batch. Most were rancid with black lines and taste horrible! I usually buy avocados to make protein smoothies and the HASS avocados that Sam's Club used to carry tasted great. The one from Peru tasted horrible and ruined many of my protein smoothies which ended up in the trash.

Sam's avocados were great. I have bought them at Sam's for over a year and I have never had a bad avocado. But Sam's changed the brand of avocados, now they are from Peru. And I have had a terrible experience with these avocados. Something happens in the maturation process that does not end. So in the end, you have some seemingly ripe avocados, but hard on the inside and impossible to eat. From the last purchase I made, which was 14 days ago, I was only able to eat 1 avocado. I'm not going to continue spending my money on avocados, which I then have to throw away.

I bought fresh avocados recently through the curbside pick-up option. The avocados were so old they were rotten or dried out. Sadly, none of the five avocados in the bag were fit to eat. I hesitate to buy them again but perhaps it was just one bad bag.

I love the price and convenience of buying these at Sam's Club, but I'm fed up with how unevenly they have been ripening. It's not uncommon for parts of the avocados to never ripen by the time other areas have turned dark inside. I'm now buying them elsewhere. For awhile, I was ok with one or two in a bag being ICK but the problem has gotten worse and I now have to throw away a whole bag (twice now), it's no longer worth it. I've tried talking with the produce guy at my store, but he's such a know-it-all and is a little bit condescending, and he doesn't really know-it-all.

This is the second time I purchase 🥑 in Fayetteville, NC Sam's Club and on the inside they're brown/black with an off smell, these 🥑 ain't fresh they're already going bad and they still put them out there for the customers to purchase. I let customer service know and didn't even take them out

The last two bags of avocados I purchased back on August 26th were not up to par. I ripen them up slowly and within a couple of days they appeared to be ready to eat. They had black lines running through them. They tasted old. I noted that they were imported from Columbia. I hope Sam's club parents album and one for her improves their quality control.

All five were firm and appeared okay. First one soft enough to cut open had moldy looking spots on outside skin, was difficult to separate halves, and was grey inside. Not fit to use/eat. Will not buy again. Never had this problem when ordering organic avocados (these were not organic).
