Don't buy the avocado from Peru! Within the last 6 months, I've been getting 2 okay avocados out of 5 in a bag. Usually these are watery, and tasteless on the good batch. Most were rancid with black lines and taste horrible! I usually buy avocados to make protein smoothies and the HASS avocados that Sam's Club used to carry tasted great. The one from Peru tasted horrible and ruined many of my protein smoothies which ended up in the trash.

This is the second time I purchase 🥑 in Fayetteville, NC Sam's Club and on the inside they're brown/black with an off smell, these 🥑 ain't fresh they're already going bad and they still put them out there for the customers to purchase. I let customer service know and didn't even take them out

The past 4-6 weeks the avocados were terrible. When the outside finally gets soft the inside is usually rock hard or the inside is still bright yellow but soft and watery with zero flavor. Have these been frozen and then thawed to sell? Not sure but that's what I'm thinking. Listen, I've been buying the avocados from Sam's in Wilkes-Barre for years, every 3-4 days to make sure I have one ready for breakfast but lately I cannot trust the ones at Sam's club Wilkes-Barre. Each of the 5 packs the past two weeks contained 1 moldy avocado? Do not buy!!!!!!

These new avocados don’t ripen. I threw them all out. I normally don’t leave awful reviews like this, but I know I would want to be warned. The ones they used to carry before were really good, I think they were from Mexico and California. These new ones are from Peru.

Avocados from California and Mexico are always good! The Peruvian avocadoes are the worst, don't waste your money. I have purchased three bags in the past month and they never ripened....I returned them for a refund. It's not just the avocados, the Peruvian oranges are terrible. Sam's should stop selling Peruvian produce, stop wasting our time and money! I recommend, but only if they are not from Peru.

Sam's avocados were great. I have bought them at Sam's for over a year and I have never had a bad avocado. But Sam's changed the brand of avocados, now they are from Peru. And I have had a terrible experience with these avocados. Something happens in the maturation process that does not end. So in the end, you have some seemingly ripe avocados, but hard on the inside and impossible to eat. From the last purchase I made, which was 14 days ago, I was only able to eat 1 avocado. I'm not going to continue spending my money on avocados, which I then have to throw away.
