Great avacados but often are overripe. I always ask for firm on my pickup order

The last 2 bags of avocados have been like rocks and WILL NOT RIPEN. I figured out that its because they are coming from PERU now, NOT MEXICO. I put them in a paper bag, like usual, after 1 week 2 ripened, other 4 were hard. Added a banana, after another week, another one was almost ripe. They had very little flavor as well. Somethings not right with these PERUVIAN AVOCADOS ! Are they irradiated or something? Picked too soon. SAMs produce buyers messed up big time.

I have no idea why Sam's keeps stocking these avocados from Peru! They never ripen and when they kinda soften up after a month they are moldy and black inside! This is the second time I forgot to check where they were grown! C'mon Sam's...a little quality control!

As an avocado lover, I have tried to find decent ones in grocery stores all over town but none compare with Sam's regular stock of Haas Avocados. They have been consistently 100% good quality, sized larger than what's available anywhere in town and priced at a very fair value. I think of Sam's exclusively when I need avocados.
