Some avocados in the packaging are bad. Therefore, you don't get the benefit of purchasing all good avocados. It is wasted money. At times, only one or two, out of the packaged few, are worth eating.

Are these somehow being kept too cold? Bought on a Monday. Cut open Tuesday and they are firm outside yet black inside. Frozen? At a buck each, that's unacceptable.

Tuff one to rate as avocados are good for you. But these are grown in Mexico and probably use a gas chamber to keep from oxidizing. Sell grown from California and organic.

I am reordering these … I hope this time I receive a good batch because the last one I ordered online were all rotten. I'm ok with unripe ones, please just don't sent overripe/ rotten ones.

I love avocados but grocery store prices can be high. These are usually very green when you buy them. I plan ahead and make sure I have some ripening if I need them.

Delicious. I make guacamole with mine. Put them in a dark place to ripen. When they are just slightly soft, I transfer to the fridge. I have waited over a week to prepare them and they are still green and delicious. Just don't let them get too soft!

All avocados were too ripe . Tried to find some that weren't completely mush . I was able to eat two , the rest were tossed in trash after a day after purchase.

I have bought these avacados for years and every single bag and every single avacado ripened to perfection. They are moist and easy to cut up or make guacamole. I like making an avacado salad like Kings Inn makes. They ripen perfectly and slice them then spread them accross my salad. The avacados are perfectly hard at the store then ripen great. I add sliced avacados to Sams Club crossants with a slice of swiss cheese then spread hellmanns mayo on top. I sprinkle salt and pepper then have a master piece. For bkfst I add an over easy egg with swiss cheese. Then I add sliced avacados it makes a filling healthy bkfst. If you make different meals with the bag of avacados they ripen perfectly. California grown avocados are not good tasting or and they don't ripen equally and some don't at all, some have hard spots or they get slimy under the skin. They also cost more. Now the ones from Mexico and Peru have a rich taste and ripen equally and no hard spots. I stop buying avocados when they from California.

My last three bags of avocados from Sam's club have been very disappointing. They look to be ripe and not too ripe, but when you get into the avocado, it has a very grainy and dry texture and multicolored. It almost seems as though the avocados have frozen in shipment. This is my third try and I will not buy again.
