These Mexican avocados are the best on the planet! I have been buying them for years. When bought green, they will ripen within 2-3 days on the counter. Then they can be refrigerated for a couple of weeks. They are so delicious! When purchasing, carefully check the tag on the bag to make sure they are from MEXICO. Do not buy avocados from Peru. They never ripen and remain as hard as rocks. I made the mistake of buying Peruvian and considered adding handles to them to make hammers!

I placed an online order that included these avocados. When I took them out of the box at home they were all rotten. In order to receive a refund I have to go back to the store which is very inconvenient. Needless to say I will not be ordering avocado from Sam's Club again.

We go through a bag a week depending work schedule and if my husband leaves it in the car. We have found that if we put them in water in the fridge we can pick and choose to take one out the night before to ripen. or to leave untill neext week. it stopes them from ripening. we have more control.

Despite the previous reviews, we have not found any issues with the quality of the Avocado flesh. If you check the fruits before buying and select the slightly firmer fruits, they will ripen nicely in just a day or two. You can freeze mashed avocado with a tad bit of lemon juice and this will keep them from browning.

Horrible! Just wasted $10!!Why are you selling these??? I got a batch never ripped got another batched put them in paper bags and they are like rocks and had to throw them out. This is not ethical to be through food out like this. I never leave a review but this needs to be said.

The last two bags of avocados I bought were terrible. They rot before they ripen. They are yellow-green and flavorless, except for bad flavor. They one I tried out of the last batch had a both a rotten and sour taste. The sour taste was different than the rotten taste. I returned the last bag and will be returning this one. Lots of bad reviews, and maybe they only way to get better avocados is to let them know monetarily.

Cheaper than most places but mishandled most of the time (ripens with deep bruises, missing stems) Also there is almost always one avocado that is ripe while the rest are rock hard. Make sure to check the entire back if you need to use them immediately.

DON'T buy if they're from Peru. Sams sources from this same Company who will deliver from either Peru or Mexico, depending on where they're sourcing them. TWO consecutive bags from Peru did not ripen correctly, from research this appears to be a function of conditions in the holding warehouse at the vendor before they're delivered to the Sams stores.

Will not ripen but rots on the inside! I was hoping to be able to use at least 1 out if the 5 that were in the bag. Nope, they were unripe and rotting on the inside and had dark blotches throughout. First and last time I will buy avocados from there until quality changes.

Absolutely never buy avocados at Sams Club if they are grown in Peru. They are hard as rocks and will not ripen on the counter, putting them in a bag I have tried everything and literally have thrown over 20 avocados in the last 5 weeks in the trash. They will rot inside before they ever ripen.
