I buy this quite often even though it's pretty expensive because we really enjoy the wonderful flavor, the tenderness of the meat and the ability to make a good, solid sandwich or meal. And I have been impressed with the quality so the price never dissuaded me from purchasing it in the larger portion. However, the last 4 times, paying no less than $33.00 for a package, the quality has definitely changed. There is MUCH more fat. A lot more pieces where the edges/ends of the slices are hard, solid and too tough to eat especially after heating. There are pieces of BONE! After this last purchase of the largest package where about 20% of it was inedible, sadly, I have decided that the declining quality is no longer worth the price.

This is chemically cured, not smoked. Salty, weird ham-like texture and not enjoyable. I lived in Texas for 6 years and have eaten and smoked plenty of brisket. Whatever this is, no one in my family of carnivores liked it. Smothering it in bbq sauce helped a little, but it was way too salty and lacked flavor, either smoke or beef.

I have bought this in the past and husband enjoys the flavor. I bought a package in Oct 2024 and was EXTREMELY disappointed to find that a third of what I purchased was fat that had to be thrown out. There were big pieces of fat on the edges of each slice. Of course, it is packaged with the fat down so you have no idea that you will have so much waste.

My sister and brother-in-law served this at a large family gathering once. After that I was sold. My family absolutely loves this brisket! I serve it at most holiday gatherings along with other meats and it is by far a favorite. It is completely cooked. I put the whole brisket into a "Brown-in-Bag" with a small amount of water and bake at a low temperature for about an hour. I served at a dinner with my entire office and the people loved it so much, I gave one to all my co-workers for a Christmas Gift. Now they serve it also. Seems a little high, but zero waste and no work at all.

I've bought this several times and it's usually very tender and tasty. I bought one last weekend and it's really not very good at all. Very tough and lacking in flavor. I tried it twice and ended up tossing the rest, it just wasn't enjoyable. I doubt I'll buy it again anytime soon. If you get a good one though it's pretty tasty.

Still has same easy, convenient way to prepare as in the past. A big plus. In this day of "shrinkflation" they were a bit narrower, but still at least 2 pounds each package (bought 2). Have gotten rave reviews from friends who enjoyed them at a christmas event.

We love this! The flavor is great! It's very versatile,too. Add BBQ sauce, spice it up for fajitas, use it in a casserole, use it with veggies in a stir fry or just plain on a sandwich. The possibilities are endless. For a family of 8 it's just the right size, too. Can you tell we love, love, love it?

Next to your own, an excellent precooked main menu. I add 1/2 cup of water to my foil lined pan just so it’s not as salty but recommend you try it the first time as is unless you’re watching your salt intake or your just not a fan of spiced up. Also have added Sweet Baby Rays to it delicious when can’t get out to enjoy that family BBQ.

Wanted to love this so we could have an occasional shortcut for brisket without having to wait 1/2 a day for the brisket to smoke and be ready to eat. We followed the instructions to warm up 1/2 of the package and we were all disappointed. The meat is full of fat and tough.

What a stellar product. it microwave reheats well. Even straight out the package cold was delicious. Just be careful to only warm it and not over heat it. You will lose a lot of flavor and what moisture is left. Halfway through the first pack and it's absolutely worth it. I am genuinely shocked at how good this pre cooked food is. Excited to try reheating in the oven nice and slow.
