It was very dry even at room temperature. Tried a piece before we slowly warmed it up. Very little smokey flavor. We ended up chopping ut up and mixiing it with BBQ sauce .

disappointed in the taste and firmness. I think you cna produce your own in a pressure cooker that is much better an overall cheaper once you divide a larger brisket up prior to cooking

I bought this a month ago and it wasn’t the best purchase! I expected more but it was a bit dry and the taste wasn’t as good as I was expecting. First and last!

Didn’t taste like real meat. No flavor

Still has same easy, convenient way to prepare as in the past. A big plus. In this day of "shrinkflation" they were a bit narrower, but still at least 2 pounds each package (bought 2). Have gotten rave reviews from friends who enjoyed them at a christmas event.

I buy this quite often even though it's pretty expensive because we really enjoy the wonderful flavor, the tenderness of the meat and the ability to make a good, solid sandwich or meal. And I have been impressed with the quality so the price never dissuaded me from purchasing it in the larger portion. However, the last 4 times, paying no less than $33.00 for a package, the quality has definitely changed. There is MUCH more fat. A lot more pieces where the edges/ends of the slices are hard, solid and too tough to eat especially after heating. There are pieces of BONE! After this last purchase of the largest package where about 20% of it was inedible, sadly, I have decided that the declining quality is no longer worth the price.

Needs more juice. Too dry.
