Bought in a pinch instead of making one

disappointed in the taste and firmness. I think you cna produce your own in a pressure cooker that is much better an overall cheaper once you divide a larger brisket up prior to cooking

Make sure you check to see if it is all fat.

This was really fatty and not worth it this time around. This product has sadly gone down in quality. It was 25% fat. This used to be a grab and go meal, but now I will not buy it unless I pick it out and check it first.

MMMM Brisket

Still has same easy, convenient way to prepare as in the past. A big plus. In this day of "shrinkflation" they were a bit narrower, but still at least 2 pounds each package (bought 2). Have gotten rave reviews from friends who enjoyed them at a christmas event.

Best bet ever!

My sister and brother-in-law served this at a large family gathering once. After that I was sold. My family absolutely loves this brisket! I serve it at most holiday gatherings along with other meats and it is by far a favorite. It is completely cooked. I put the whole brisket into a "Brown-in-Bag" with a small amount of water and bake at a low temperature for about an hour. I served at a dinner with my entire office and the people loved it so much, I gave one to all my co-workers for a Christmas Gift. Now they serve it also. Seems a little high, but zero waste and no work at all.

Here's a recipe that works!

After reading reviews about people not particularly liking the way their Sadler's brisket turned out, I decided to experiment for our Christmas dinner this year. This worked great, and maintained the great smoked flavor you're looking for. I used a crock-pot to slow cook the brisket: - Add about a 1/2 cup of water to crock-pot. Just enough to cover bottom of pot. - Placed the brisket in the crock pot. - Cut up 4 Tbsp of softened butter and scattered it over the top of the brisket. - Added around 2 Tbsp of honey. - Then topped it off with around 3/4 cup of regular BBQ sauce (I used Sweet Baby Rays). - Covered and cooked on low heat for 4-5 hours. Serve. YUM!
