Tastes homemade and I have never ever purchased a store potato salad that is any good at all! Thanks for all the good reviews that prompted me to buy this. I don’t have to make potato salad any more. Few tweets here and there any it’s great!!

We love this potato salad. Its great as a side dish or even a snack. It has that great sweet relish flavor we love. Now that we found this potato salad...no more having to spend time making it. This is our go to. Who can beat the price.

This is the most 'home made' tasting commercial potato salad I've ever tried! It's excellent. The only issue is that recently it has been very difficult to find in my club.

Sorry, but this was terrible. It's not just the amount of sweet, it's a texture thing also. It's sort of gooey. Will never buy again, does not taste like potatoes.

Not sure how this got over 4 stars!! It’s way too sweet. It’s like a mouthful of sugar. I had to doctor it up by adding mayo, sour cream and mustard. Anything to tone down the sweetness.

I was always loyal to Publix's Southern Style Potato Salad until I discovered this at Sam's. Honestly, I still prefer the taste of Publix's but am tired of not enough potatoes and too much relish and eggs. Sam's' would be perfect if it didn't have that sweet taste.

The only good thing is the price. If you can buy some other brand (GFS or Meijer- good but not consistent) and possibly spread out the sweetness, it may be worth a try. But maybe not. The trouble with the two recommended is the price. Last summer, GFS was $6.50 /3 lbs; Meijer will occasionally have it on sale, but not as often). its gotten ridiculous. We are well past Covid and these companies (and many others) keep raising the price. Most have millions plus assets. You decide. I'm not an economist. With all the recipes out there the quality could be much better. I know it's made in large amounts and packed, but c'mon.

Southern Potato salad is not supposed to be sweet. Southern Potato salad = potatoes, boiled eggs, mustard, mayo, tiny veg. That's it. I added a whole 18 oz container of yellow mustard to this and it barely cut the sweetness. I can't believe I had to throw out 6lbs of potato salad (5lbs salad +1lb Mustard).

We bought 5 tubs of this potato salad for a church dinner. It was the big hit of the night! Many people asked "Who made the potato salad?" I replied, "Sam Walton." And, they just stood there saying, "R E A L L Y!!! They really liked it. You can bet we will get it again!

The potato salad is good for the price but I make my own little additions as I scoop it out of the larger container, a spoon of pickle relish, some onion, and garlic powder, and for my husband, I chop a hard-boiled egg and add a little more mayo. My friend thought it was amazing just the way it was when feeding a large group at Thanksgiving.
