Just got it installed. Looks great, and seems very powerful. The room got chilly FAST, seems like this could handle a lot more than 450 sq ft. It is a little noisy and clanks when it starts up but after maybe 10/15 seconds the only sound is the rushing air. My only real complaint is that the installation instructions are terrible! The images and diagrams are not helpful, no close-ups at all to show you important details like the orientation of the window plate so you know which way is meant to face inwards. The window bracket does not attach to the window slider at all, idk who designed that particular part but they need to be fired. No clip or anything just the tension of jamming one piece of plastic into another, seriously? It's a good thing it's not a critical part of the installation. The part where the vent attaches to the window plate has clips to hold it in place that leave very noticeable air gaps. They give you a ton of foam for insulation and then design the most critical part of the window installation so that it is anything but airtight... All in all the machine seems like it's going to be a great machine especially given the memorial day discount, but they need to work on the window attachment and the instruction manual a bit.

product works great. cools the south side of our house quite well. it is quiet most of the time. the installation instructions were not good at all.

Works better than expected. Used for temporary home cooling while awaiting repairs. Will keep on standby for emergencies or to cool garage.

Easy to install. Everything required included. Amazed at how quite it is. Looks well designed and built. Off white would probably blend in better.

Very nice unit. Cooling is great. Its pretty quiet, runs smooth and transitions automatically from fan to cooling without a bunch of noise for uninterrupted sleep. :)

Thus far, this works very well. It's reasonably quiet and seems dependable. If I were to fault it, the apparatus to connect it at the window seems a bit chintzy, and the thing is awfully deep, much larger than another portable AC we have.

It was easy to put up in a mobile home. It’s great for small room. But not much more. Put a fan close by and it cools. Enough to need a jacket or throw I would recommend this for a friend.

A connector piece connecting the hose to the window snapped just over 90 days from purchase, making the device ineligible for returns. Install was correctly done. Midea also would not cover the snapped piece as part of the warranty.

This portable A/C unit is amazing! My room has never been cooler and the setup was very simple (which was my biggest fear)! I haven't received an electric bill yet, so I do not know the impact that it will have on it.

We are most definitely pleased with this product! Packaging, setup instructions were easy to follow. Product performance, to date, has been beyond expectations!
