Broke down after some time

Terrible broke down after the first 3 weeks. Starting making a beeping noise and just kept beeping faster and faster until it shut off, (within a minute span) now it no longer turns on, the water tank wasn’t full or anything. It has its own corner following the guidelines with space.

Great Machine....Poor Delivery!

The Midea is great...works well in our bedroom....easy install. My issue was with delivery. I ordered in on line because it was next day delivery according to the website. My club had plenty on the floor, but to have it delivered was a better option for me if I could get it the next day. Next day came...delivery delayed....next day delivery delayed....next day delivery delayed. It was the beginning of a heat wave in our area....if I had known about the delivery issues, I would have picked it up from my club!

Works as good as a traditional window unit.

We live in Florida, our central AC in our 3 story townhouse went out over the weekend, we already have been using a Insignia brand portable AC unit in our primary bedroom due to the central AC has never been able to handle keeping the top floor cool without either constantly working and/or causing the two lower floors to be frozen tundra temps. We purchased this Midea unit to help keep our 2nd floor that is open to living, dining, and kitchen at a reasonable temp till we get our central AC repaired. I am very surprised at how quickly it was able to drop our temperature from the low 80s to a comfortable low 70s. The dual hose feature really helps make sure the majority of the heat the machine produces leaves the house and doesn’t stay in. This unit will for sure be replacing the one we use upstairs as it’s far more efficient. Highly recommend for anyone in need of a temporary solution or seasonal need of AC.
