I bought this to cool a room that is 15’x10’ in a subbasement with a solid door. I have previously had a window AC unit that was 5000 BTU and it cooled the room very effectively. This unit is more than double that and yet it can’t even lower the temperature as well as my previous one. I’ve only had it about a month. I read all instructions, I follow maintenance and clean the filter daily and it still just does not cool as effectively as it claims to. In fact, it barely cools at all. I would be disappointed if this were a cheap product but at this price point I expected quality. I spent over $500 expecting it would keep my bedroom cool over the summer and it hasn’t been able to do that and it’s not even July. Currently it’s 82° outside and 77° in my room. I’m going to have to figure out how to return this unit and buy another one because we aren’t even at peak summer heat. I would recommend that nobody purchase this item.

Easy to install. Cools the entire studio apartment. Love this unit!

Leaks! I got one and within 3 weeks was leaking from the bottom. Sams was 0 help, after we lugged this back into Sam’s and got another one - within 48 hours the new one is leaking from the bottom too. Not sure what to do with this. It does cool the room wonderfully so for now I have a waterproof tray under it - but I shouldn’t have to.

I love this AC especially the low starting amps. It gently ramps up the compressor and doesn’t overwhelm my small portable generator.

Output temperature is good as expected. However, the windows adapter is not easy to install. Does not look good and have gaps/not well sealed to window frames.

Big, heavy. Hoses and window attachments are really cheap. Worked OK, but not really worth the hassle of using it. I returned this one and bought a different brand from another retailer.

Worked well while it worked which was about 2 summers. Now looks like compressor is shot. At about $200 per summer can't really recommend this product. Look elsewhere

do yourself a favor and avoid this one. regardless of any good reviews. Bought 6/16/26, 3 weeks later leaking from the front despite being drained. now to haul this heavy thing back to the store.

I purchased this as supplemental cooling for upstairs bedrooms. It was well packaged and was easy to set up. A QR code linked to a video if needed. The unit worked well for guests we had during a hot streak to keep them comfortable.
