[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this Midea DUO 10,000 BTU SACC Smart Inverter Portable Air Conditioner, Grey from BzzAgent and I have decided to use it to cool the storage area in my house which I am planning to convert into an office studio with total area is about 300 square feet. It's weighs about 80 pounds but has wheels for easy portability and it looks great in the room and sturdy. This product comes with a very nice remote control and an easy to install and use app that allows me to control the air conditioner via wifi. The only installation requirement is to set up your windows with the attachments provided and you can do that easily by looking at the manual (but social media videos are even easier). As soon as the device is turned on you can enjoy the powerful airflow from Midea DUO 10,000 BTU SACC Smart Inverter Portable Air Conditioner that makes the air 10 degrees cooler and more comfortable in less than 1 hour. This 10,000 BTU unit is a beast. On high fan speed it pushes so much cold air around the room it makes my ceiling fan spin while turned off. It is 95 degrees outside and 68 degrees in my medium sized bedroom on low fan speed. My last portable AC unit died this summer (its 3rd). It was a smaller GE brand 6000 or 8000 BTU unit that was much louder than this new one and a lot less powerful. I have the top drain hosed into a bucket and so far have not collected any water but it is only day two. So far I am very pleased with this unit. Hopefully it is durable and lasts because I like it.

Great little portable A/C unit! Saved the day! My downstairs A/C unit went out, and it is 108 degrees outside. I purchased this unit and it has really exceeded my expectations, really keeps the room cool and livable. The window panels for the exhaust kit could use some improvements, like sturdier panels and easier install, but the unit itself is great!

So many features such as, remote control, Bluetooth, google assist and smart home. The color is perfect for my decor it's not that hideous white. The vent swings up and down in its own or you can have it stopped in the direction you prefer. Dual hoses, are perfect for keeping that hot air out that can accumulate from using a portable AC. The unique 1 piece hose that is connected to the actual AC it's designed so it doesn't kink. Super quiet, I would say it's as loud as your ceiling fan on high speed, definitely quieter than a box fan. The product came with everything you would need except the screwdriver, the weather stripping and foam for the window, the screws etc even batteries for the remote. The installation was easy, love that the hose clips right into the window insert. Definitely would buy another one for my other room!

I've used this unit for about a week, and it seems to be doing a good job. I use it to supplement my central HVAC, which gets overwhelmed in the 100+ degree weather we've had in south Mississippi! The unit is fairly simple to set up, but the window intake/exhaust panel is flimsy and frustrating. WATCH THE INSTALL VIDEO, it'll make the process much easier! The only frustrating part of this purchase has been "product registration." The website would not accept the model number (as printed on the product); so I had to go with one of the listed models that was close enough. My only other complaint, is that the window-mounted intake/exhaust means that this really isn't all that "portable." So decide where you want it, install it, and don't try to move it again.

The midea duo is a solid portable unit that definitely cools a room. It has a good amount of pieces and the installation did take awhile. I would totally say it was worth it. It isn't loud so that is nice. The remote comes in handy and easy for a child to work on their own. I would definitely recommend!

First, it looks sleek and modern sitting in our living room, and has wheels so it can be moved easily. It also cools our large living room very efficiently and is very very quiet. If you've used window units in the past you know they can be quite noisy. By far my favorite feature though is the app. I can turn my AC down before I get home so I can have a nice cooled off home which is essential with Texas summers!

Issues with my air on the hottest days. Cooled my entire house out w a fan. The window panels and hose vent are very cumbersome as it kept coming apart because of the hose weight (it cant be far away stretched out from window) but we got it installed. The directions can stand to be improved. Illustrations would work better.

Our AC went out and needed something to keep us cool till it could be fixed. This unit was easy to get up and running. Only took about 10 minutes and it was cooling quick. We have side sliding windows so I didn’t know how that would work but with all the accessories that came with the unit it worked out perfect. A bonus feature is the remote control. Makes it so easy to control without leaving your chair. The unit is so efficient we are using it to aid the central AC. Helps with the electric bill for sure.
