[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the prettiest air conditioner I've ever seen! Because it's black, it just kind of melts into the background and doesn't stand out like white air conditioners. I'd also imagine that you won't notice when it gets dirty as soon because of it. I can't say for sure, mine hasn't gotten dirty yet. It works better than advertised and really cooled of the space I put it in. There's so many features that I haven't even tried yet! My favorite is the "swing" which is like oscillation on a fan, but it swings the vents up and down. You can feel the air circulating from across the room! It comes with a very chic remote with an LED screen that you can control it and even set your favorite setting to just click on. I will say the remote is white and not black, but that didn't bother me, it's still pretty. There's an app where you can control the ac with as well. If I ever need another portable ac I'm definately buying another one of these!

The controls are easy to use. I monitor the electric usage. Right now it's 93° outside and 78° inside and it's using less than 800 watts. When it needs to it uses as much as 1100 watts. An amazing savings over my other A/C that uses 1400 watts any time it's on to cool the same space. Midea Duo is a lot quieter too. That said; the sqft coverage, area it cools, is not quite as much as they say it is. "blows cool air up to 26 feet away, reaching every corner of your home." has not been my experience. What it does is create an area of coolness in front of the unit extending a radius of 6 or 7 feet. Perfect for my small bedroom. Additional fans help it reach the corners. Possibly if you have a home that is open space 26 feet long it would work that way. What could be better: the word "Portable" implies it works in a variety of types of locations. Not that many. The one set up described in the manual is doable. What if you have something like a big old radiator in front of the window? The duo tubes will extend 4 feet or so up from the base. Despite the accordion design they are not very flexible, but will reach over the obstacle. The window interface is the problem. It is not designed for any stress whatsoever. Meaning that if the Duo tubes have to stretch at all to reach the window the adapter that clicks into the sheet of plastic you insert into the open window won't hold at all. The sliding window adapter comes in 3 parts so every thing will fit neatly in the shipping box. They should have sucked it up and made it one substantial piece. It is constantly falling apart and leaking air. I'm having to reinforce the seams with industrial grade duct tape. Also where it meets the window insert. The little clips to hold it in place are a joke. Where the adapter meets the Duo tubes will have to be taped also. Maybe tonight after it cools down outside I can tape it all together as one airtight piece. Reinstall it in the window. I

Received on a promotional deal and couldn’t be happier. This air conditioner blows extremely cold air and is a breeze to move around with the wheels gliding across many different surfaces. The kit included to mount to any window style is also very user friendly. Sleeping with this unit is also incredibly nice as it hardly makes a sound. I would recommend to anyone and plan on getting another soon!!!

I received this item on a promotion and it has been great! Very ergonomic and easy to use. Cools my bedroom to 68 degrees in no time which helps with electric bills because I don’t have to run central ac when I don’t need it. Very solid and well built unit, I highly recommend it

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I live in an older house so AC takes forever to get to the upstairs. I put this in my bedroom and turn off the ac during the night. It's amazing. I saved so much money already it would of bought this years ago. It cools the whole room really fast. It's says 450 square but my room is bigger and even reaches to my master bathroom. It's annoying with the window, to place it where I wanted but its save money so I just have to deal.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this Midea DUO 10,000 BTU SACC Smart Inverter Portable Air Conditioner, Grey from BzzAgent and I have decided to use it to cool the storage area in my house which I am planning to convert into an office studio with total area is about 300 square feet. It's weighs about 80 pounds but has wheels for easy portability and it looks great in the room and sturdy. This product comes with a very nice remote control and an easy to install and use app that allows me to control the air conditioner via wifi. The only installation requirement is to set up your windows with the attachments provided and you can do that easily by looking at the manual (but social media videos are even easier). As soon as the device is turned on you can enjoy the powerful airflow from Midea DUO 10,000 BTU SACC Smart Inverter Portable Air Conditioner that makes the air 10 degrees cooler and more comfortable in less than 1 hour. Used production model for our home office and is the perfect option to keep the room cool. Love the fact that is is also a dehumidifier. Agree with the other reviews that the unit is heavy but aren't all AC units. But what is great/different about this one is that there is no lifting involved (there is no way that I could actually lift and install a window unit). I could slide this unit where it needed to be. And when the weather cools down, the plan is to side it into the closet for storage. The sleet modern design blends into the room. It runs quietly and it is nice to have the remote control feature and a timer feature. The installation instructions were clear but was also nice to have the QR code to access the installation video as secondary instructions. Only needed a screwdriver, ruler and knife or scissors to install.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just wow, this Midea Portable air conditioner works great. we have it installed in our bedroom and you can even feel the cold air outside the room. The instructions are very clear and it was very easy to install it. We are very happy with this and definitely would recommend it.

We got it for one of the larger rooms, which happens to be above the garage, so it gets hot in the summer. We got this, and within minutes of turning it on, we could feel the change. Nice cold air, good air movement, humidity went down so fast and now the room is so comfortable. 100° and high humidity outside, but nice and cold in the room. We actually have nice heavy blankets in the room since it gets so cold. The window it is in, gets the morning sun and stays in the direct sunlight until the afternoon. Very happy with it. We're actually planning on getting one for our shed, it works so good and have no concerns about it keeping up with the even hotter temps in the shed.
