[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've used portable air conditioners before. This one was done a lot better. Dual hoses are needed (intake & exhaust) for any portable a/c to prevent a negative pressure situation. This unit has bundled them into one semi-rectangular expandable tube. Inside the they are separated but it's done very well and because of this doesn't look unsightly. The unit came with everything needed to install in any window including weather stripping and window security brackets. The unit has 4 modes. Cool, Dry, Fan & Auto. In Dry mode you may need to empty a water reservoir but the until comes with a hose and it can pump it out up to 6 feet high. In Cool mode it is unlikely to need to be emptied. It comes with a huge detailed remote that I have messed with a few times but honestly I'd much rather use the app from my phone. It's easier to use and you can set up schedules. The app also ties with a weather service so not only will it tell me the inside temperature but it tells me outside temp and humidity as well. The unit works very well. It does a fine job of cooling and adjusts fan speed very well. I am very impressed with how quiet this unit is compared to other units I have used, my 8 year old daughter even commented on it. I did receive this product for free in exchange for reviewing it. So far I am very happy with this product and am consider getting another for a room upstairs.

The best portable AC I have bought. This can keep my large master bedroom at 64 degrees on a 100 degree day. The portable AC unit before this one would stay around 70 degrees on a similarly hot day. And ontop of that, its even quieter than the old one!

Used production model for our home office and is the perfect option to keep the room cool. Love the fact that is is also a dehumidifier. Agree with the other reviews that the unit is heavy but aren't all AC units. But what is great/different about this one is that there is no lifting involved (there is no way that I could actually lift and install a window unit). I could slide this unit where it needed to be. And when the weather cools down, the plan is to side it into the closet for storage. The sleet modern design blends into the room. It runs quietly and it is nice to have the remote control feature and a timer feature. The installation instructions were clear but was also nice to have the QR code to access the installation video as secondary instructions. Only needed a screwdriver, ruler and knife or scissors to install.

We got it for one of the larger rooms, which happens to be above the garage, so it gets hot in the summer. We got this, and within minutes of turning it on, we could feel the change. Nice cold air, good air movement, humidity went down so fast and now the room is so comfortable. 100° and high humidity outside, but nice and cold in the room. We actually have nice heavy blankets in the room since it gets so cold. The window it is in, gets the morning sun and stays in the direct sunlight until the afternoon. Very happy with it. We're actually planning on getting one for our shed, it works so good and have no concerns about it keeping up with the even hotter temps in the shed.

This 10,000 BTU unit is a beast. On high fan speed it pushes so much cold air around the room it makes my ceiling fan spin while turned off. It is 95 degrees outside and 68 degrees in my medium sized bedroom on low fan speed. My last portable AC unit died this summer (its 3rd). It was a smaller GE brand 6000 or 8000 BTU unit that was much louder than this new one and a lot less powerful. I have the top drain hosed into a bucket and so far have not collected any water but it is only day two. So far I am very pleased with this unit. Hopefully it is durable and lasts because I like it.

I've used this unit for about a week, and it seems to be doing a good job. I use it to supplement my central HVAC, which gets overwhelmed in the 100+ degree weather we've had in south Mississippi! The unit is fairly simple to set up, but the window intake/exhaust panel is flimsy and frustrating. WATCH THE INSTALL VIDEO, it'll make the process much easier! The only frustrating part of this purchase has been "product registration." The website would not accept the model number (as printed on the product); so I had to go with one of the listed models that was close enough. My only other complaint, is that the window-mounted intake/exhaust means that this really isn't all that "portable." So decide where you want it, install it, and don't try to move it again.

I received this item through a promotion. So far everything has worked great. it really pushes the air throughout the room. I have it at the back of the shed and I like that I can put the remote at the front by the door to avoid walking to the machine every time. It rolls around easy if you need move it out of the way for any reason.

I received this thru a promotional bout a month ago and I absolutely love it!! We used in our small cabin loft of bout 500 sq ft and it cooled it nicely. It’s quite and easy to move. My kids also enjoyed it as they described it as an “ air fort” maker with a bed sheet. I would recommend this to anyone who has a small area to cool. It has worked great for us!!

Worked great, then died before the end of 3 months!! Only a couple days before I have to return or wait for warranty to decide if they will refund my money! That could be 10-14 days and house went hot! Try sleeping in 85 degrees or cooking food. Not sure I want to go through that again with a Midea!!

This unit is AWESOME and so effective in cooling down our area where we have a side-by-side frig and 2 chest freezers so the motors will heat up the room....thermometer showed 98 degrees in room, within couple hours it was down to 73 degrees, which is as low as we want it in that room! Definately worth the money!!!
