I don't even like mashed potatoes, but these are delicious! And, my family thinks that suddenly, I am the mashed potatoes expert! They used to say I made Spackle rather than. Mashed potatoes. Win/Win! We all love them and I don't have to peel potatoes anymore!

I rarely use ready-made mashed because frankly, it's cheaper and pretty easy to make them at home -- but I recently bought these as a time saver for a large family party. They are excellent. As near to homemade taste as one could expect -- and the price for the size you get is very reasonable.

Just know this is microwave only. The container cannot be put in the oven, even though it looks oven-safe. We do not use a microwave, and I threw out the instructions, but since it looks like every other oven-safe container, I thought it would be fine. It's totally my fault, but the company should know that not everyone uses a microwave. Even if I had read the instructions, I would have tried it because it should be heat-safe, right? Melted in the oven.

I mean, yes, they're mashed potatoes, so they do have that going for them, but maybe it's because they sit around, or something, but they just didn't taste that good. After you doctored them up and all that stuff they were OK, but it's just as easy to mash your own potatoes after you go through all that you have to do to make these palatable.

True story: I no longer make my own mashed potatoes since I discovered these. I buy them at Sam’s Club & hide them in the back of the refrigerator (behind the 14 kinds of craft beer my sons like) and when no one is around, I scoop these potatoes into the Crock Pot to heat up for Thanksgiving or any other big family feast! I always accept compliments and hide the empty containers until recycling day. Never peel potatoes again - buy these!

You can’t imagine my surprise at the reaction these potatoes produced! so many compliments and no leftovers! I put them in a crockpot and voila, everyone thought I made them. They are a staple at family gatherings. Let’s face it, if I can make it a little easier during the Holidays it’s a win for me!

When you don't have time to peel and boil the potatoes get this. Yukon gold mashed potatoes are the only way I prepare mashed potatoes. Russet is for baking and red is for boiling. This is the real deal. Plop it into your crockpot on low and stir occasionally. Your guests won't know it's not home made.

I was a bit skeptical about these at the beginning but have grown to love them! Don’t let the liquid on top fool you. Just stir that in after the first few minutes in the microwave and they are good to go!!! Super fast for a quick fix dinner after work. Perfect for 2 people and then have lunch leftovers!

We were not impressed with the taste of these. When I am in a rush I will pick up Bob Evans premade mashed potatoes and my family loves them. There are never leftovers. Only one person in my family of 4 ate these. They said there was just something different about them. They also had a large amount of liquid in the top of the container-maybe butter/water/a mix of both, not sure.

These mash potatoes take no time at all to heat up in your microwave and they taste just like homemade. I keep these around for meals that I need a quick side or the main course is time consuming and I don’t want to also spend time peeling and cutting potatoes.
