I love these mashed potatoes. They taste more like homemade mashed potatoes than any other similar brand. And for a reasonable price better than making them myselves

These potatoes are the perfect companion to a Sam’s rotisserie chicken. These potatoes taste as fresh as can be, and they hold their own with gravy and are even great fried into potato pancakes. I always have a two pack on my fridge and like I said, I always buy this product when I get a rotisserie chicken. Those 2 things along with a bag of the wonderfully fresh salad available on the Sam’s produce cooler and you got yourself a faultless meal with virtually no work.

I had to feed16 people. I bought 4 rotisserie chickens, 2 bags of frozen corn and these delicious potatoes. They don’t have a bunch of chemicals. I addrd some warm milk and melted butter and whipped them up on the stove top. GREAT meal.

Never fails me. I add a little extra cream to the top and a couple of pats of butter and to give a little extra moisture and then they taste just like you make them.

Look, is it as good as the best homemade mashed potatoes you've ever had? No, no it is not. Does it taste good enough that it's worth the minor decline in flavor for the huge time and energy savings from these potatoes? It absolutely does. This has become a staple in our home and we enjoy it very much.

Delicious. Taste like freshly home made. Quick to heat up. Goes with lots of things! Sometimes I just eat mashed potatoes! I like to have these on hand all the time.

These mashed potatoes are really like home cooked. They taste delicious with or without butter and with or without gravy! And, what an awesome timesaver!

Excellent and easy to serve mashed potatoes. I’m almost 99% sure they get Bob Evans to make this product. It’s exactly the same as the stuff I have gotten with the BA label at the grocery store, down to the plastic clamshell and the best by date printed on the clear inner wrapper. Follow the instructions for heating and make sure to stir in the watery layer… there’s nothing wrong with it. I usually just microwave it (stirring gently every so often to avoid overcooking) but sometimes I’ll put it in a skillet with a little bit of broth or water and do it that way instead. I have struggled with chronic fatigue since getting C-19 in 2020, and now I’m getting cancer treatment, so homemade mashed potatoes are absolutely “too many spoons” so these are so helpful to me. I love using them on top of a shepherd’s pie in addition to having them as a side dish. The flavor and texture is just like homemade, complete with some little chunks of potatoes (which is how I’ve always made it at home… better to leave chunks than to overmix and end up with gluey potatoes.) It’s obviously made with real potatoes. If you got a bad batch with “dark spots on top” then take it back to the store for your money back. It’s really easy to damage the seal on these (or sometimes a customer will pull these out and leave them at room temp too long and then they get restocked) so mold occasionally happens on a fresh product like this—it’s happened to me with Bob Evans actually.

I bought these mashed potatoes after reading promising reviews but was a bit disappointed. They were a little grainy and not exceptionally flavorful. They are ok in a pinch but not stellar.

I purchase these a lot but this time I purchased them on 3/12/26 and when I went to use one today One 3/18/26 the wrapper said best if used by "Feb 26, 2026". I never thought to check the date but I will from here on.
