I bought these only to simplify turkey day, and the reviews were sparkling. They were awful. I've had instant potatoes that tasted better than these. I tried adding butter %26 additional seasoning but they were already so watered down and small lumps of potatoes. I would definitely not recommend.

I was pleasantly surprised at how good these were. I usually only buy Bob Evans mashed potatoes as the other brands I've tried have been nasty but these are really good. I actually preferred these to Bob Evans as they had a better natural potato flavor.

These are great ready made mashed potatoes! I always add the Shammys (now members mark) garlic Parmesan butter which makes it *chefs kiss* so much better!! Definitely stir halfway through! I sometimes pull it twice to stir. When they're on sale they're an even better deal! Watch the dates. It goes quick!

I thought these mashed potatoes were really good! My husband wasn't that impressed, but I wondered if maybe he needed more butter on them. I bought the food and husband and IL warmed it up for Thanksgiving. Maybe he was just being picky because he didn't make it it. LOL. But I thought the potatoes taste as good as his. ♥️

First things first, I never liked mashing potatoes and always tried to get someone else to do it for me. I really don't like beaten ultra smooth mashed potatoes either. My son bought these for Thanksgiving dinner. They were almost as good as if he had mashed them himself. There were even bits of potato in them just like they were hand mashed. I bet if there was a bit more butter in them, I wouldn't have known the difference. Get them the next time you need mashed potatoes!

Best premade mashed potatoes I've ever had! been buying these for years now. But need to warn you that the serving size on the package is not really correct, cuz how many people only take a half cup for their serving? I recently bought these for our office Thanksgiving potluck and the label said 14 servings PER container, so I thought 28 servings would be enough - boy was I wrong! (Make sure you buy EXTRA for large gatherings). Even one of my co-workers came the next day asking me for the recipe because her picky mom absolutely loved them too! and I didn't even add anything extra to them. I just warmed them up slowly in the crock pot. So simple and yet so yummy!

I don't have proof, because these potatoes weren't frozen when I received them, but their texture was very much like they had been previously frozen: watery and separated. I had to turn them out into a mixing bowl and beat with a mixer, adding butter and heavy cream to make them smoother. They had a good taste--but the texture was off.

I had never eaten these potatoes thinking they couldn't possibly taste good. Boy was I WRONG! These are WONDERFUL! Tastes like I remember eating when I was growing up! The price is very reasonable considering you get two packages and just pop in microwave, heat and eat!

Who has time to boil and peel potatoes… When these are all set and ready to heat and eat… We’ve even used them for the holidays, because it’s about the family and not the amount of time it takes to prep the food. They are great quality and excellent taste!

I bought these because the price of potatoes had gone so high I thought I might as well save time and buy the pre-made potatoes rather than make them from scratch. However, I don't leave lumps in mine, so my family was not happy with the substitute. I added cream, butter and salt to these because they tasted pretty bland as well. Sour cream probably would have been good. I really wanted these to work because I hate peeling potatoes.
