although we have only had a few weeks, so far its great except that perimeter of top layer of foam needs some more firmness. When you try to sit on the bed you tend to slide off due to the large edge radius created, especially if your feet arent firmly planted on the floor. Other than that great sleeping.

I did a lot of comparison shopping before I purchased this one, and read all the reviews. I am so glad I purchased this one. Both my husband and I are in our 70's and both of us are heavy. We were waking up many times at night to reposition ourselves and woke up so sore in the mornings. We have had this mattress a week and so far have had the best sleep ever. We find ourselves sleeping on our back (which we never did before) we are both side sleepers. This mattress is so comfortable. It forms around your body but you do not sink in, and when you do reposition yourself, it just reforms around you. Great mattress for a resonable price. Our mattress is a king size. Just a word of advice. When that box comes you will need two or more people to help move it. The instructions on how to unpack it are INSIDE the box. Do not open the box until you have it up on the boxspring or foundation, trust me it expands very quickly. Our mattress opened upside down and we had a devil of a time turning it over. Just have some help if possible, you could NEVER do it alone, at least not a king size. We love our mattress, thank you.

Good quality bed. Very,very firm. Easy to set up but might be hard for elderly to move around. The bed had a strong odor for the first couple of days. I had to put my 3" memory foam topper I previously bought from Sams on top of bed and now it's just right. I wake up less sore than on my spring mattress. If you like a firm bed then this is the bed for you.

My husband and I looked at more expensive memory foam mattresses and finally chose to purchase this one. We are enjoying the mattress. It sleeps well and I really like the fact that I can't tell if my husband gets up from the bed. So far, it seems to be a good value and we are very satisfied.

We've only had this mattress for a week but already think it's great. We went to all the local stores and tried Tempurpedic, Englander and Serta. I just could not justify the prices they want for these things. We decided to take a chance on the Night Therapy Elite 13" MyGel mattress just based on the reviews and when I asked my local Sam's Club if I could return it to the store if not satisfied. Not much risk. We are not sorry. I was afraid it might be too soft but I would consider it medium/soft. Has been great for my wife's hip pains and my shoulder pain since we are both side sleepers. There was no issue with smell or creases when I unboxed the mattress. In fact, the mattress comes rolled up so I can't see how creases could occur like some have complained about. I have no idea how long it will last but for the price, I am not that concerned.

It was a long normal day. The (this) mattress was delivered on time yesterday and I took it out of the packaging as was in directions and let it air for the aternoon. I put the clean sheets on at 9pm showered and went to bed. The bed aired itself in that time and was pretty much oder free. I did not sleep at all. My wife tossed and turned and did not sleep very well either she said. I do not know why. Too soft? If you are sleeping with anyone else you need to keep toward the middle because the edges are soft and you could fall off.

I bought this mattress after doing a lot of research and it is well worth every penny. I have it on a basic frame from Ikea ($50) basic slats($30) and its like speeping on a cloud every night. As a Side sleeper I had an issue with my arm falling asleep, not with this mattress. I would recomend this mattess to anyone regardless of your sleeping position. I sleep soundly every night now no issues. Had no issues with smell as even the manufacure mentioned.

Love this mattress! Have previously owned a My Comfort and a Sleep Number P5 mattress. Decided we loved the memory foam support and comfort and the cool layer technology on this one makes it the perfect mattress. You really do stay cool. It did put off a little bit of an odor when we first unrolled it but the smell went away within a couple of days. We just plopped it on top of our Sleep Number adjustable base. This mattress is heavy so there is no need to secure it to the base...it stays perfectly in place no matter what position we have the base in. I would say this mattress is more on the firm side...more so than our My Comfort but it still conforms to your every curve and you feel weightless. My husband and I are both about 200 lbs each and we sleep great on this mattress. What a great value too!

The mattress is very comfortable, but we wake up HOT and SWEATY MULTIPLE TIMES during the night! We hear this is a characteristic of All memory foam mattresses! We made the change to this mattress from an almost 30 year period of sleeping on a full wave / motion waterbed. We felt we did thorough research of all the different versions of memory foam on the market. And we chose this mattress due to its price and all the POSITIVE Feedback we read online. Now we do agree we get better quality of sleep, BUT like I mentioned above, we wake up HOT and SWEATY Multiple Times during the night. Even though there is a GEL COOLING layer built in the mattress. All I can say is do your research and go out and lay on or try out as many mattresses as you can before buying. Good Luck! and Good Sleeping!!!

I am 46 years old and have been in 2 bad car wrecks (neither one my fault! :-) ) and a work related accident that have left me with constant lower back pain for the last 10 years. I had pretty much resigned myself to thinking that it was something that I was going to have to deal with for the rest of my life. Not anymore. My back has not felt this good since I was in my 20's. I am getting much better sleep and overall feel so much better. I had looked at memory foam mattresses at some of the big retail stores, and never thought I would get one because they were so expensive. When I found this for a fraction of the price I was excited. I, like many of the others on here, was a bit concerned about buying without trying, but I knew I liked memory foam and thought that with the easy return policy from Sam's it was worth a shot. Am I ever glad I did! This thing is incredible. For both my wife and I it is the perfect mix of plushness with the top layer being fairly soft, but it has other layers just below that that give good support. No pressure points, just an incredibly comfortable mattress. Had I known how much better I would feel and how much better I would be sleeping I would have done this years ago and paid the several thousand dollars that the name brands charge. As others have mentioned there is a bit of chemical smell when you get it. It is not horrible and doesn't burn your eyes or make you light headed or anything, it is just noticeable. We took the cover off it (it is a soft cloth cover that just zips on and off pretty easily) and put it in the washer, and we let just the foam air out for a couple days in another room with a fan on it, sprayed Febreeze on it a couple times and did the walking all over it thing to squeeze the air out. It was still slightly noticeable when we first slept in it, not enough to deter sleep or anything, but after about 3-5 days of sleeping on it was almost completely gone and now after a couple of weeks it is completely gone. I am so glad I found this. I will never go back to a conventional mattress. If you are on the fence about getting it, stop. Just buy it. You will be so glad you did!!!! P.S. - You might want to get a loud alarm clock along with this - you are going to need it!
