We've only had the mattress for about a week, so I cannot speak to the durability. However, the comfort is out of this world. This is my first memory foam mattress and it has been great. I am sleeping less, but that is because I am getting better quality sleep and don't need as much. We replaced our previous Serta spring mattress because my wife and I were both experiencing back/shoulder pain. So far, neither of us has experienced any pain. Highly recommend.

My only complaint was the smell when it arrived, it took about 6 hours with windows open to get it gone. I understand they all smell some, but my last two only took about 3 hours. No big deal there. Overall this bed is GREAT. It is super thick so I don't feel like I hit the ground, very soft yet firm at the same time. I can sleep mostly n my side without my shoulders hurting too much now. The cooling effect is MEH at best, I did not think it kept me cool, but it also was not inferno on a mattress so I assume it is working. Over all a great buy, super cheap price, and so far the best memory foam I have owned.

I initially wavered a bit about purchasing this mattress and all the while my husband and I were dealing with our 16 yo Queen pillow top mattress. Waking up with body aches, stiffness isn't a pretty thing when both of us are still not as old as we felt upon rolling out of bed until we could sit up. Not because of the mattress but rather how the mattress made us feel every morning. He told me just to order it and we'll see where it takes us. The MyGel Prestige has been a wonderful mattress. Both of us sleep more soundly; thrash less, don't feel each other turning over; and wake up feeling like we got a good night's sleep. No more rolling out of bed. The minute my feet hit the floor, I'm not struggling to wake up my lower back so I can walk. My husband and I haven't had any problems in the month that we've owned it, and we are surprised by the fact that we love it without having first tried or tested it. It really is a perfect fit. Regarding the packaging odor: Not too strong after unpacking. We kept a fan in the room to circulate the air. The first night was not bad. Got better over the course of 2 to 3 days until we didn't even notice that we couldn't smell it anymore. At the end of the day, if you are extremely sensitive to odors, then you might consider letting it air long enough to allow odor to dissipate before you sleep on it. It will be worth the wait instead of saying you don't like it because of the smell. The smell is gone baby and I'm digging my new bed! I would recommend the bed (I have already), and I would buy another of this type/brand without hesitation. If you are thinking about it, don't. Just DO IT. Worse case scenario... you return it. Best case scenario... you'll feel like you've gone to heaven for the night. ;)

This mattress sleeps much better that the Serta memory foam we returned a week or so ago. That Serta memory foam was rock hard to sleep on. This is just soft enough but firm enough to enjoy it anytime even for a quick nap. This what I bought a memory foam mattress for. I think the gel infused makes the difference in the comfort level. I especially like that my wife can get up and the bed does not move at all and vice versa.

My wife and I previously had a major manufacturers dual zone air bed. We thought we would try something different and ordered this mattress. It was delivered promptly with no issues. I followed the unpacking directions and left it unused for two days for the initial foam smell to go away. Dressed and used it after that and was totally surprised at its comfort. No saggyness and contours to your body very well. We did not notice any problems with it feeling to warm in the summertime. For the price a remarkable mattress.

I am a side and stomach sleeper, this mattress conforms to all your contours without heating you up. The price and quality is excellent. With all the talk of smells and not laying flat at first, I made arrangements to stay at my daughters, no need it never smelled and immediately laid flat......did I mention I love my new bed. My son and daughter in law, my daughter and son in law are also buying now!

I bought this mattress 2 months ago and i have to say it is the most comfortable mattress i have ever slept on in the 57 years of my life. I am 250 lb. man and was sceptical when i first read the reviews. i was concerned that it would be too soft or too hard as some of the reports had posted. i used to wake up with a back ache on my old mattress but now that is not the case. If you are wanting a comfortable bed (and yes it is cool with the gel) then go ahead and get it. You will not find a better one for the price.

We have only had this mattress two weeks now but I love it. It is def. firm enough but not too much. Its not hot at all. We bought a regular spring mattress less than six months ago and it started to sag. I know I am slightly overweight at 140 lbs but I wouldnt think I would make that much of an indention. We returned our old mattress and got this foam one and so far we love it. I also cant tell when my husband is getting out of bed which I always could before. It was very heavy and awkard to get upstairs but once we got it we were all good! Hoping in six months or a year this one doesnt sag as well!!! So far so good. And with Sam's club return policy we will keep trying till we get it right!!!!

We've had this mattress for 4 months now, wanted to give it a good try and let it get broken in before making up our minds. We bought this mattress based on the reviews, and it does not even seem like the same one other people have raved about. After waking up with limbs that have fallen asleep, stiff necks, and sore hips, the conclusion is that it is just way too firm. There's just no give to let your body sink in and get comfy. Gave it two stars just because people who prefer very firm mattresses might like it, but it didn't work for us. Returning it this week.

I'm 6' 320lbs with chronic back problems, including one surgery. This mattress has been great in reducing my back pain. I've had it for about a month now, and after two days of sleeping on it felt better than I have in years. My only complaint is how deep I sink into it. I'm pretty agile so it's not a problem at all, but for a large person with mobility issues it could definitely be a draw back. My wife is 100lbs and doesn't have any sink problems. For the price this mattress is excellent. I do have concerns about it's long term "bounce back" potential because of the sinking, but the comfort and price are worth it even if it only lasts a couple years.
