Best meal hack - the cooking is already done! The texture is closer to baked salmon and they have great flavor. They are heavily smoked and salted. Noted that they may not work for every use where smoked salmon is required, but it was good nontheless. They have a flavor similar to a mexican dish from Nayarit called pescado sarandeado. We had it in a taco with light mayo, white rice, avocado, and a spicy salsa made of blended serranos with lemom juice and salt, garnished with thin slices of red onion. Yumm!

The salmon bites were very good on our salads. The sauces weren’t. I’m not sure what to use the little bamboo tongs for, as we didn’t need them for the salmon. The box design could use a better seal on the little windows as things fell out because they are wide open. I’d definitely buy the salmon again for the Asian salad and add some mandarin oranges, too. Prettier good salmon.
