I purchased this sandbox for my 2 year old grandson who loves trucks & tractors. He loves playing in the sand with his trucks. I recommend this sandbox. Although it is a little small, so he plays from outside of box and does not get as dirty, as if he played inside of box!

A little disappointed with this sand box. It was a bit smaller than I had anticipated. I also feel it was poorly designed in some aspects. There is no way to cover the excavator part of the toy so I am constantly having to wipe bird poop, grass, etc off of the excavator before play. It would have been better if the excavator could be tucked in under the cover. The worst part however, is the two holes for the tools and the way the cover comes off. Anytime it rains and you take the cover off of the sand box all the sand gets soaked! The holes for the tools dont have any cover over them so they are constantly filled with water with no easy way to drain as you cant simply lift a sandbox full of sand and dump the water out. Its a sandbox that was not designed to be outside. My son loves playing with this but it has several annoying flaws.

This is the cutest little sandbox! It is smaller than I expected but it serves its purpose for my two year old. It seems to be quite durable and the included accessories have been a hit. Over all I am very satisfied with my purchase and would recommended to anyone with smaller kids just starting to explore their imagination.

My son loves this!! It is smaller in size so not a traditional sandbox that he can sit in but I like it better. He sits on the outside and plays in the sand. Love that it has the excavator attached. Very easy to set up. Comes with cute accessories. The lid is great to keep rain and cats out of the sand and it doubles as a ramp to drive the truck on. I used one 50 pound bag of play sand. It could hold more but 1 bag is perfect to dig and play and still be able to store toys in and put the lid on when we're done

Really cute! I was very pleased with the quality of the toy. My grandsons loved it. The box is not large enough to for my two and four year olds to sit in. I purchased the toy to allow them to play with the sand not to sit in it. The toys that come with the box are adorable and little tykes quality. I placed the box in a covered area and this factor along with the cover for the toy keeps the sand clean. I purchased a bag of play sand from Walmart to fill the box . I am very pleased with this toy!

We bought this sandbox as a birthday present for our 4 year old. He absolutely loves it! We did not want a huge box, that he would be sitting in, So this was perfect for what we wanted. It holds 2, 50lb bags of sand (we purchased ours at Lowes) I love how the lid is converted into a ramp. We are very happy with it!

My husband and I bought this for our kids (3 and 1) as an Easter present. They loved it! Both could play in there for an hours at a time if we let them. I will say that it is rather small but we knew that before we bought it. Actually, I like that it is small as it keeps the kids from getting into the sandbox. Instead, they have to sit/stand around it and play with it. I think it keeps them from getting covered with sand. My kids love all the toys that came with it. We've had for about 6-7 months now and it is still doing great. We keep it outside in the elements and it has really held up well. I would recommend it but I do have a few minor complaints. Sometimes when it rains, the water can get into the sandbox and flood everything. Just take the lid off for a day and it will dry out. Also, the lid can be a pain to take off and put on because of the digger attached to the sandbox. As long as you are ok with those two things, I would say that this would be a good fit for you.

My grandchildren like this sandbox, but they don't like to play in it after it rains. The top does not keep the sand dry, one of the reasons I purchased a sandbox with a top. You will need to get a tarp to keep the sand dry. So, this adds another $10.00 to the cost of the sandbox.

This product is not too big for my patio in my townhouse as I thought it might be. I like the very important and needed cover and the fact that the cover is a added play equipment item, adding to the fun. The back hoe is awesome and so much fun for my grandson, I really love this sandbox.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like that it is large enough to hold a lot of sand and compact enough to fit on back deck and I especially like that it makes into a covered top. Fun for my 3yr old and 7 year old grandkids to play with.
