This is a very inexpensive meat so it needs to be beat, you'll definitely need a meat tenderizer and I use them for making great steak & cheese sandwiches

If you shave this super thin or roast it forever its fantastic! Delish! But you can't just cook it up in minutes in a pan or on a grill and expect to chew it.

We recently discovered eye of round as an inexpensive, good quality cut of beef. Great for slicing for sandwiches. It isn't tenderloin but it's very lean and does have good flavor and texture.

Great purchase! I salted and place in the oven low and slow at 170 degrees for 3 hours internal temperature at 130 degrees and it was the best eye of round I’ve had in years. Made great sliced meat for sandwiches and dinner protein entree. Plus I had meat for stew and craps to cook up for the doggies. Will definitely buy again. Thank you Sams for this hidden gem.

Very frustrated because it was more fat than beef. I bought this through my app and I hoped the person who chose my items would do a better job. Unfortunately this is not the first time I receive a not good quality of a product. Also the only way to return it is going to the club to costumer service which I don’t want to do, first there are a lot of people without a mask nor social distance and that is exactly what I am avoiding “people” and second because of bad pass experiences with SAMS customer service at the club.

Will definitely purchase again!
