I trim this (remove excess fat and square the ends) to roast for roast beef sandwhiches. The ends I cube to make soup or stew with. Fir the roast I coat with avacado oil and Montreal Steak seasoning blend. Then bake uncovered at 400°F for about 6 min/lb. Then drop the temp to 250° until intermal temp reaches 145° Let rest, then Refridgerate overnight. Next day I slice it on meat slicer. (Could do by hand) It so good!! My Hubby has these sandwiches for lunch or I can make quick meals. I can also freeze portions for later. So versatile.

Great price to grind my own hamburger. It comes out to about 80/20 when you weigh the ground beef and ground fat separately. I also cut them into about 1/2" steaks--marinade in a bit of italian dressing, toss on grill 2ish minutes on each side for a killer fast meal with a salad or veggie.

I have never bought an eye of round but have been trying to eat healthier. I prepared this in my new instant pot and we decided this makes an instant pot worth buying. You can't beat the price, all lean meat. Be sure to slice as thinly as possible after letting the meat set for about ten minutes.

With a family member who is not able to eat much fat, I found that getting an eye round and corning it myself was the best way to celebrate St. Patrick's Day. This corned and cooked up beautifully.

We had this wonderful meal on Christmas Day and this roast was star of the meal. Everyone enjoyed it.

This is a good price for bulk meat. I have to trim a LOT of thick fat off the outside and it's time-consuming and makes my arm and wrist sore to trim and then cut and chop, but we're so tight on money that I'm saving any way we can. I slice it into 1-lb and 2-lb packs of roast and cut up stew meat for stroganoff and beef and noodles, roast and potatoes and carrots, and shredded beef tacos. Good value if you're willing to put the work into it.

Am getting a bit disappointed in quality of Sam's Club meat. I buy Cryovial packs of Eye of round roasts and Sirloin Tip roasts. They are so laded with fat now and that there is no savings on price anymore. Plus the wonderful flavor is not there either. Please go back to your previous butchers from about a year ago! Things were much better then!!!!!

I would buy again. Good flavor. I gave it 4 stars because there was too much fat on the outside. Estimated over a pound, we had to cut off before cooking on an 8 lb roast. However, we didn't weigh it for the exact amount.

There is a lot of fat that adds to the weight. Most of it should have bee,trimmed off bef[e packaging.

For the price I paid It had a lot of fat in it
