Purchased couple days ago. I wanted to change from the Oxide to this Citrate. I don't mind the large size. But now I am reading closer and it takes 2 tables to get the 250mg. I cut open a softgel and that purple covering is thick! I would like to know how well that dissolves so the magnesium inside can be absorbed before it works through the digestive tract.

I just bought this brand from a grocery store.. they are HUGE, and it recommends taking 2? Also, why is the casing made of beeswax or other material i literally had to saw open with a knife to reveal a yellow paste. I dont know if i can trust this, never took a huge medication called a soft gel that isnt see through. The casing isnt even dissolving in water after 30 minutes, not even soft. Is this plastic?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My expectations were met with this Nature Made brand magnesium. I feel confident in this product and have not had any side effects. I was worried about upset stomach but haven't had any problems (2 weeks taking the magnesium every other day). The only negative is the large size of the softgel. I do wish they made them smaller but otherwise no complaints. I will continue with Nature Made magnesium!
