Product Installation:This Mono Laser All-in-One Printer has a very easy set-up process. I was printing within minutes of taking it out of the box. I used the online set-up process, which takes a little time to download, but the instructions were clear and easy to understand. I had no issues setting this product up correctly.Printing: There are a number of trays available for printing, so it took me a minute to determine which tray was the default printing tray. Once I loaded the correct tray with paper and submitted my document for printing, I was amazed at how quickly it actually printed. The print quality was extremely crisp and clear. This is an excellent product for professional looking documents, and also for printing that needs to be done quickly. Overall:I`m extremely satisfied with the quality of this product. This printer only uses black ink so color printing is not an option. For my personal use, I print quite a few black text documents so this is an excellent option for my printing needs. I also print invoices for customers frequently so it is important for it to print crisply. This printer has exceeded my expectations and I`m satisfied with the results.

This is not my first brother printer nor will it be my last. Out of the several Brother printers that I've purchased over the decades, I've yet to wear one out. I've only replaced due to obselesense and to take advantage of emerging technology. This MFC printer has everything needed for today's increasingly wireless world and is one of, if not the best value solutions on the market today. I'm extremely satisfied with my purchase and highly recommend this model.

A lot of my day for work involves scanning and printing documents, this printer has made it easy for me to do both. It is convenient to be able to print from both my laptop and my phone (android). Set-up: The product arrived well packed and it was easy to take out of its original box. Set-up was quick, the item arrived with easy to follow set-up directions and there is also a link to a video on how to set-up the printer. It was easy to set-up the Wi-Fi on the printer, much faster and more user-friendly than previous Wi-fi printers I have owned in the past. I did find it difficult to set-up the PC to the printer, it required downloading a special software from Brother, I wish it would have simply connected via the network like other printers I have owned in the past. Function: I printed from both my PC and my phone and with both the connection to the printer was fast and the actual printing was also fast. The printer is very quiet and the papers that are printed stay put in the printer and do not fall off as it is printing. The scanning is also very fast, I needed to scan a large 50 page document and it completed the scanning fast and directly to my computer as a pdf file. The printer allows you to see when you will run out of ink and the paper tray allows you to fit a good amount of paper, which allows you to print large documents without having to re-fill the paper tray.Overall, I would recommend this printer; it is exactly what I needed for my office the only thing I wish is to have the ability to print from the PC without having to download the software.

I have an old Brother Lazer jet printer. I upgraded so I would have wireless capabilities. I love the printer and appreciate that it is affordable. The wireless works great and having the scan feature has saved me time and travel. Should have bought one years ago. Thanks

Excellent monochrome laser printer for the price! Setup was very easy, intuitive and the printing quality is excellent! Replacement printer cartridges are very reasonably priced. In addition I have several Brother products and they are excellent. Finally Brother customer service if needed is 2nd to none! I highly recommend this brother printer.

A) The noise level of this machine sounds like an airplane taking off, B) If you manual feed a sheet smaller than 8 1/2 x 11 you have to open the top cover to retrieve it. C) Copies coming of the printer have no guide, they don't stack nicely, they're are all over the place.

When I scan a document the image has a big scar that runs the length of the document. If I copy a document it comes out clean. This is incredibly annoying, is there a YouTube video on fixing this chronic problem. I have owned several Brother printers but won't buy another if I can't easily figure this out. I bet this is really pointless survey and I will not hear back from on my issue.

This model is more for a business versus home. The fax cannot be controlled. Either turn volume down or unplug phone cord to keep telephone from ringing on fax for incoming calls. Plus its only a black & white printer that uses toner only. I will be returning this as soon as I find a replacement. They don't make anything like they used to. No quality just the almighty DOLLAR.

It's everything I wanted in a laser printer: WiFi printing, copy feeder, and scan to computer. It breaks down on the scanning to computer process. When I first started using it, I could send scans from the printer to the computer, even if it was annoying that I had to press four buttons for each page. Now I have to do it from the computer, and since the computer usually isn't in the room the printer is in, I am not getting through my scanning project as quickly as I was. Why has this changed? And since I use a MacBook, there is little troubleshooting available. If the scanning worked both ways, this would be a five-star review.

Takes a little while to connect, but prints fast, good quality in black and white. I like the laser printer much better than my previous inkjets. This laser printer cost more, but it is worth it. Printer tray can hold a lot of paper. I have never had a paper jam with this printer.
