Wanted to switch from inkjet to laser. Tired of cost and mess of inkjet cartridge replacement. Was refilling cartridges but printer wouldn’t always recognize my refills. Brother was not in stock at local Sam’s Club stores; ordered on-line; arrived within 5 days. Wired set-up easy. Came with drum cartridge. Large capacity feed tray is much easier than having to feed 15 - 20 pages at a time. Generic cartridge replacement drums are cheap and claim to print 12000 copies. Will save a fortune over ink replacement for an inkjet printer. Hardly ever need color copies but when I do I can scan in color, transfer to a flash drive and then print on a friend’s printer or at FedX store.

This printer is amazing, although a little noisy. It's fast, prints beautifully, and seems well designed/built. I like the features, especially the WIFI printing which is quick and easy to set up on all your computers. This one replaces a Brother printer of the same design, but years old. I found out that Brother didn't bother to create a Windows 11 driver for it, so it became landfill. But, I'm glad I was forced to buy this one, it's awesome!

Good printer that works with macs. Plug it in, get it on wifi and then it just prints. I have a three story townhome tied together with a mesh network and had no trouble getting it going. Had the previous version that lasted about 8 years.

I already have one Brother printer and its still being used. I decided to purchase another one for our upstairs office. The print looks very good. It is wireless and we can even print from our cell phones.

We decided to change out of our Epson colored all in one to the brothers black and white laser all in one due to the amount of ink that the Epson was going through when the machine was not being used. This is a great machine it’s quick efficient does everything it’s supposed to do. I definitely would recommend it especially if you’re going through colored ink like crazy and don’t need the colors for anything specific

I should have bought this years ago. I've considered upgrading from inkjet to laser printer for YEARS and this is a dream. Setup was as easy as possible. I put this on my wifi network using WPS, push a button on the printer, push a button on the router, done! I installed the printer on several windows laptops in less than a minute on each one. It's fast and the print quality is great. I've scanned a few things and that's easy too.

I have used these in the workplace and I have found they did not often break, had good page yield per cartridge, and easy user interface. For the price this model is more cost efficient than cheaper ink jet models. They have not changed over many years which made me think that they did not care about how they looked just how they preformed and they have preformed well so why change what isn't broke....this is probably a purchase that will last years.....for my experience with the product.

If you print black & white only, this is a economical alternatives to ink jet printers that require very frequent expensive ink colors. The print quality is better that ink jet printers.

Everything is great except WiFi. It is horrible. You have to reconnect the WiFi on the printer every time it goes to sleep, which is a pain in the derrière. If not for everything else working as expected I would have given this printer one star.

We have had several MFC Brother printers and they work great. This on required downloading and installing the driver package from the brother website and the software was very difficult to install. These printers need to come with up to date software installed or on a CD.
