I've used this printer only four times but the printing was very quick and very good. My sister has the older version of this printer and has had it for some years and she loves it, her friend has one as well and she thinks it's the best printer ever for just black and white. They tell me it's affordable when it comes to replacing the toner or the ink cartridges. So far so good and I would recommend this to others.

Works fine - super easy setup. I bought a laser jet because I print rarely - every time I needed my old printer, the ink had dried up. Monochrome print quality is good. Double-sided printing is nice. ADP doesn't work for double-sided copying - I tried single-sided to double sided too, but it didn't seem to work either.

Setup was easy. Great printouts and quick. Discription showed it would scan in color tested and it did a great job. Only monochromatic printing but only lassr that stated it would scan in color. Very useful to save incomming documents that are color.

have purchased 4 bother and 5 Xerox that I still own and use, over the years plus a verity of others from HP laser 5000 to Plotters Okidata and Tectonic color wax, Epson ink etc....How do you buy the Pinter, first go down the ink/toner isle find cheap ink replacement then go buy that printer if all other needs are meet ….. fax copy scan color mono what ever. you'll buy a lot of ink over time so beware of printers on sale.

Nice printer but had a little trouble setting it up. It wouldn’t scan after the setup. Looking up how to fix this ; remove firewall still didn’t work. Throwing in the towel I surrender. I hate hp. Read printer reviews said brother was best printer. I don’t doubt that but it didn’t prove the best printer that’s best for me. I WILL NOT GO BACK TO HP. Will try a different model or brand that is listed among best printers

We bought the brother printer to use in our office. We wanted a laser printer because of the high volume of printing we do. The brother printer was using to much toner on the copies and no matter what adjustment I made to the printer preferences the copies were to black. I contacted customer support and they wanted me to take the drum out of the printer and wipe it down with a lint free cloth. Right then I decided to return the printer. I bought the printer to print copies not work on it.

Highly satisfied with this equipment, easy to set up and operate, great printing quality. Great value as well, the use of toner instead of ink makes a big difference in durability and efficiency. Brother offers informative and effective support in its web pages.

Every thing I wanted in a printer, no more clogged ink heads if not used in a few months. Duplex is great as well as the other functions of this MFC.
