Beef Brisket + Pellet smoker = great combo

This ended up being a tough cut even after nearly 3 hours.

I smoked this 9.2 lb brisket flat this past weekend on my primo ceramic smoker! Excellent piece of meat! Very little waste! Great taste!!

after twelve hours this brisket was some of best I every had. 225 degrees on second shelve of smoker was definitely low ans slow.

Very tasty and tender brisket. Black Angus, well trimmed so I’d expect nothing less. Sam’s meat department has improved quite a bit over the years and the butchers at the Vernon Hills store are the best!

Disappointed that size of briskets were small which necessitated SAMs putting 2 together. Didn’t change my cooking process, but thot meat was a little on tough.

We bought this for a family Christmas celebration. Followed directions on how to season/marinate/cook it but did not find it to be very tender. It was not terrible, but not as good as I hoped it would be.

This brisket was absolutely delicious. It had just the right amount of fat to allow it to be tender but not a lot like so many briskets you find in other stores.
