Got this detergent based on reviews I had read from the previous year. Didn’t know they changed the scent. It claims to be hypoallergenic and safe, so I assumed there wouldn’t be a scent. It smells soo strong like chemicals it made me nauseous holding my son who was wearing the clothes. It also made me and him itchy. I did one load of laundry and it made my whole garage, washer, and dryer smell for a week. I’m still trying to get the smell out of his clothes.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I started using Dreft when my grandsons were born. We used it because we were supposed to. But, we really liked it. It doesn't have an over powering smell, it leaves everything very clean, and is gentle on our clothes and skin. Now we use Draft for our adult clothes too..

I absolutely love this detergent. I've use it with everyone of my littles. The oldest is about to be 18, and the youngest is 1 1/2. I love the smell. I love that it gets everything out of the clothes. I've never had an issue with formula or food stains. I do also use the Draft Stain Remover also at times for things that typically stain more (like carrots and formula vomit). My youngest also has eczema. This is one of the only detergents that didn't irritate her skin. Her skin would literally blister with some other brands. I have read some articles that day do not use this brand, but I, personally, have never had an issue.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This has such a nice smell to it. You expect that classic baby smell while you get it this has a twist that really apps it up. Its safe against there skin so no reason to worry bout harsh chemicals. You gotta try this on your little one.

I started purchasing it for my second baby girl when we brought her home. It's the only brand of detergent I trust on their sensitive skin! The newborn liquid detergent is made for newborn babies who have delicate skin! It's hypoallergenic and gentle on skin! I love it so much. It smells amazing as well and it's also great for pulling stains out of my daughter's clothing! Dreft is a little on the expensive side but I promise that it's well worth it! They also have a stage two active baby detergent which smells amazing as well. I'm glad that I don't have to worry about this detergent being harmful to my kids. It's pediatrician recommended and mom recommended as well. I will continue to use this detergent for as long as I need to! We love it! If you don't use it on your baby I would recommend it. Best baby detergent out there!

Very disappointed in the new scent. My first baby is almost two so I had the original scent with him. I bought dreft for my newborn a few weeks ago only to be confused as to why his clothes did not smell the way I remembered. I thought I received a messed up bottle so I purchased another only to be disappointed again. Manufacturers did not make it clear that this is a ‘new scent.’ Please bring back the Original Dreft as an option.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Always trusted dreft as my detergent for my baby’s clothes and as always it never disappoints me, it’s doesn’t make the clothes looking dry and stiff, the scent is not to strong for me and the baby as well.. i even use it for the stuffed animals and her bed sheets..u don’t even need a fabric softener anymore. Baby never had an issue with any allergic reaction or other skin issues one might have from using the wrong detergent! Will always, ALWAYS buy Dreft for my little ones items.

I remember what the original dreft from decades ago smelled like and it was still the same when I had my first child in 2014, but sometime after that it changed so I stopped buying it. I do not like the new scent, it's awful. The original from years ago was so wonderful and just lovely. I wanted everything to smell like that. I do not understand why you changed it. It really is an awful smell now. Please bring back the actual original scent so I can buy this again. It was the only detergent I could use with a fragrance for all of us in my family. 3 out of the 4 of us have eczema.
