I used to keep this product all the way to toddler years because of the wonderful baby smell. But they changed the scent completely and now it's just like any other detergent for babies..lost the value to me because of it and I won't be buying it anymore.

I am allergic to over 700 fragrances, oils, etc. You name it, I'm allergic to it. I'm even allergic to my couch! I tried every product on the market, and my skin gets so itchy I bleed! A family member told me to try Dreft..BINGO... Know one loves Dreft more than me. If that someone you love has any allergies count on using DREFT!!! Worth a million dollars, I hope they make a soap.

It has this soft smell that leaves her clothes and blankets smelling good for days. I love the fact that it contains no added chlorines, dyes, and phosphates which is always going to be a win win for me. I’m definitely recommending this product to all my friends and family.

It truly is unscented. I washed our bedding first with it and the blankets smelled CLEAN. Not like an overpowering perfume smell like other detergents tend to leave. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely love Dreft because not only is it strong enough to remove the spit up stains around the neck/collar of my baby's clothes but it is gentle enough for my baby's delicate skin. Before buying Dreft, I tried a name brand dye and fragrance free detergent and it was too harsh for my baby, who was born early. My doctor advised me to just use water but the water didn't remove the stains. I asked him if I could use Dreft and to my surprise he said, "Yes, we actually recommend parents use Dreft for their baby's clothes for the first year." After trying it, I'll never use anything else but Dreft to wash my baby's clothes again. Added benefits, it's not super expensive and it works well in my high efficiency washing machine. I absolutely love it!

It seems to clean well and is not irritating to the skin. The scent however was very surprising, and not in a good way. I always use sensitive safe products for myself so when I used this for my first child's clothes I wondered if it actually had fragrances and was concerned I'd have to rewash ALLL of her clothes and bedding before she arrived.
