I decided to try a new laundry detergent because I simply did not have the time to spray all of the stains before putting them in the washer. I also feel better about washing my baby's clothes without all of the chemicals that could potentially be harmful.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] To be honest, the concept of different stages of baby laundry detergent sounded ridiculous and a bit over the top..a difference between infant and active newborn? Hard to swallow. But I tried to give it a fair shake and be objective about the product. Then the smell was awful and not at all what I would identify as baby-like..too heavy and musky whereas I think light and fresh for a baby.

I know there have been a lot of negative thoughts about the scent of Dreft lately, but I just started using last year SO I have nothing to compare it to. I personally love the scent so much. The stage 2 smells just like stage 1, but has a little more cleaning power (and blueberries and avocado need cleaning power!) I also use the Dreft stain remover in conjunction with this and most of the food stains disappear. It's about 15.00 at my local Target and Walmart for the standard size, so it's pricier than most detergents but for the smell and the gentleness, it's worth it. #dreft #babystuff

It does not irritate baby skin, it leaves clothes soft and clean and it has the slightest scent which is great. The strong scented detergents tend to irritate. No problem whatsoever with dreft, my husband & I love it.

I accidentally washed a work shirt in it and my coworker was nearly in tears thinking about how much she was missing her son whenever I was near her. I think it does as well as any other detergent in getting stains out, and I feel safe using this as detergent allergies run in both families.
