It’s never made my kids break out in a rash when I use this. My daughter is currently 13 months and I still use this detergent on her clothes. It does a good job of getting rid of the milk smell that babies clothes gets when they are little

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Everyone always recommends Dreft as a laundry detergent for newborn babies. I feel that is a high quality product and for the longest time it probably was the best for your baby's laundry. However, in today's market there are so many perfume/dye free laundry soaps that are cheaper per ounce I'm not sure if Dreft is still the best choice. It has a pleasant baby fresh scent that was nice, and before having my first baby I had no problems with scents in my laundry and actually enjoyed the clothes smelling nice. However, since my baby was born I've been more concerned with reducing the amount of chemicals and perfumes my baby is exposed to and feel like other soaps offer that for me at a better price. That being said, I thought Dreft provided a very thorough clean to the clothes and softened them without having to add additional fabric softener and the smell was pleasant without being overbearing. I feel that this is a very good product, but just not for me.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Dreft is the most amazing laundry detergent for kids clothes. It leaves them smelling incredibly good and so soft! My kids have sensitive skin too and this detergent leaves their clothes soft and comfortable rather than irritating.

Growing up, I heard everyone talk about the wonderful newborn smell. It turns out that wonderful smell was the smell of Dreft. When I washed my firstborn’s clothing in anticipation of his arrival, I realized for the first time that the new baby smell I had always loved was from the detergent and not the babies themselves. I have used Dreft for each baby through the years. For our fourth and final baby, I bought a new large bottle of Dreft. I noticed a different smell immediately but thought I must be wrong and proceeded to wash all of my new baby’s items. Once I brought them out of the dryer, all I could smell is a florally-Tide type smell. I couldn’t believe it. I searched high and low for the original scent with no luck. There is no point in me buying Dreft if it just smells like any other detergent. I have found a new detergent and will be rewashing all of my baby’s clothing so that my poor newborn is not overpowered with the new, non desirable, run-of-the-mill scent. I have seen the other review replies. Until you come back with a Dreft Original Scent, I will not be buying.

I used to adore this laundry detergent. Then during spring of 2020 I noticed a heavy fragrance coming from my infants clothes. I asked my grandmother if she had added any other detergent to her dreft. That's how strong the perfume like scent was. Come to find out dreft changed there formula completely. I didnt find out until after my daughter started to break out in allergic hives all over her body. It took me a week and a half to figure out what dreft had done. I even bought different bottles of dreft from different locations to see if maybe I just got a bad bottle. But nope, Dreft changed their winning formula.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Only the best for my newborn, so Dreft Stage 1 Newborn Liquid Detergent is all I use on fabric that touches my most precious baby's newborn skin. I love the fact that Dreft Stage 1 is fluoride- and phosphate-free and is hypoallergenic. Dreft is effective at getting out those frequent "burp" stains! Works great in my HE washer and I never see any soap residuals. I look forward to continuing through the Dreft stages as my baby grows.

This product totally cleared that up! I would highly recommend this brand and laundry detergent for your baby and we wash our clothes with it too!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the only soap I have used for my son's clothes since he was born. He has never had any issues with breaking out while using this soap. The scent overall is very nice, and not at all overpowering. Cleans very well, as kids can get pretty messy! I have not had any issues with having to rewash at all.

I took a peg off the quality because of the scent. I have loved Dreft since 2009 and even had it on auto delivery up until the scent changed. Please please bring back the old scent. I have stopped purchasing Dreft because of the change in scent. I periodically check and see if the classic is back, but only get disappointed. I now buy unscented Tide and use the blissfuls along with it, but it's just not the same. I also tried the new scent with blissfuls, but it's not cutting it. We love the combo of the old scent with the blissfuls. Sigh...

I use this with all my babies and I do like it. I feel like it does the job and leaves the clothes clean and smelling good. It's not the best on stains though and for the price I would rather buy a good quality stain fighting detergent. I usually get one bottle to wash and prep the clothes in and once it's gone switch to what my whole family uses. It's not a must have to me.
