We needed something for outside that would block out outdoor stair access for our little kids playing outside. We did not want anything we had to drill into the cement stairs. It was difficult to find a pressure-mounted gate that would fit such a wide opening. This was perfect! I like the tricky-to-open gate, so my little ones can't figure out how to open it (yet!). Time will tell how it will hold up outdoors against the elements as I'm not sure it is really for that, but for the price and since it will temporary until our little ones get older, it was a great find. Easy to assemble, too.

My husband put this together, and he thinks it's a little flimsy. However, I think it works great so far! We didn't install it with the hardware actually mounting it to the wall, so maybe that's why he feels that way. Anyway, great gate for the price!

This gate is for a 56" opening for my 16 month old granddaughter. She can push on the gate and it bows in the middle and moves. I was going to return it but we attached a piece of wood trim to the floor in the middle of the gate and now it works fine. I am disappointed about it bowing in the middle but we seemed to fix it. I like the door to walk thru. It sure makes it easier than climbing over it.

The Gate is sturdy but the latch does not hook up properly despite what the instructions say. I have to use a latch of my own to lock it. the instructions are not as clear as they could be so I had to fumble around and figure it out by looking at the pieces to put it together. It would rate a 5 if the latch worked, and it's heavy duty material so it works to hold in large animals and toddlers.

Very nice gate. Easy to install, easy to use. Came within 2 days. I needed a gate for top of stairs, banister on one side, wall on the other. This one adjusted for the different widths on the banister side and molding on Wall side. Feels sturdy. I may keep it up permanently for my husband's and mines safety in the dark. So far the grandbaby hasn't stood and pushed on it, but seems it's nice and tight.

We searched high and low for a gate that would fit a 65" opening and not require hardware to be mounted. While we had to order a larger extension directly from Regalo, this gate was able to give us the desired coverage that we needed. My husband had no trouble installing it and it went up quickly. We did the shipping directly to the store and it took FOREVER. I would say that the shipping method was the least satisfactory part of this purchase. The extension from Regalo was shipped directly to our home and was here at least a week before the gate made it to the store. Being that this is the first gate we have every purchased the only other dislike so far is the width of the door. Maybe all doors are like this??? This gate seperates our two living rooms and we have to carry loads of wood through the gate for the wood stove. It is a very tight fit for me as I am short and making sure I clear the gate is annoying. Overall, the gate is doing its job right now and my little one isn't pulling on it so I cannot atest to the beating I'm sure it will get soon enough.

The gate looks very nice when in place. It is quite capable of keeping our dogs in one section of the house. We will soon have a new little baby boy, so when he gets old enough to navigate on his own, the gate can help to keep him out of danger when we need to work in the kitchen. The gate's "door" is a plus because my pregnant wife can easily open it to go to another room. This gate is perfect for wider doorways.

I bought this gate for my two pets to restrain them to the family room. Excellent choice! The gate is sturdy and wide enough for pressure installation without the need to mount on the door molding. It's secure, looks great and for the price a great solution.

This gate is perfect. I needed a extra wide gate making it a challenge to find one at a retail store or even on-line. Among the gates I did find, this was the best for the price. It was exactly what I was looking for. It will take two people to set it up, however it was easy and had it up within ten minutes. I would recommend this product to anyone and would purchase it again if I had a need. If you haven't ever used the Walmart order on-line program, it is easy.
