We got this when our son first started to become mobile a few months ago. It took a little bit to set up, but it is nice and sturdy. Our cat can fit through the bars (when she remembers that she can). Now that our son is almost a year - he uses it to pull himself up and stands with it. He holds onto it and shakes it back and forth - and it has yet to budge.

I was using a coffee table to keep my son out of the kitchen/dining room. But, he learned to climb over that. So, I invested in this gate. I got it pretty fast, and it was pretty simple to put together. It kind of curves at the pieces that go together... But, that's so far my only concern. It's better than a table!

Finally, found a gate that fits the wide doorway between kitchen and dining room, and it stays put . Easy to put together with the extenders that came with it. We now own a 7 mo old rescue German Shepard and can keep her from going upstairs during the day while we are training her . The gate looks great too, way better than the shower curtain on an extension rod and some kitchen stools that kept her contained til now. Can't beat the price.

nice gate -We had to mount a piece of wood on both sides of the wall thought because if we added a piece it was too much and if we took it away it was to small but after we screwed the pieces of wood and painted white like the wall you couldn't even tell

Bought for a new puppy and had trouble assembling so it remained sturdy. It was difficult to turn the screws enough to make the gate catch. Either the gate would pop open, or the rubber ends would slip and the fence would move. It needs to be tightened every couple of days.

I bought this gate for my granddaughter and for my great granddaughter's first birthday. I researched this item on-line because it wasn't available to inspect at any of the retailer's I was able to shop at. I did check out all the gates that were available at these retailers. None had the dimensions I was looking for. I wanted a strong, durable gate with easy access through it and this gate came through with flying colors. This gate is metal and came with three extensions that I needed to use to block off the area between the kitchen and living room and have a walk through locking swing-gate. The instructions were good and assembly went smooth. I especially liked the screw into the wall plastic cups that the adjusters fit snugly into. No chance of gate sliding or being pushed or pulled away from the walls. My granddaughter is just so very pleased with this gate and my great granddaughter, after a few tornado-like episodes with the gate has excepted it's strength of character...for now. Another plus feature of this gate, is that you can remove and reinstall in minutes.

After reading some reviews i pursue to purchase it. Glad I did cause it's easy to setup and wide enough. I even have 1-extra gate extension. Strong enough & its secure opening & closure for lil crawler. There's a gap between the gate opening/closure but once when completely adjusted both sides youll good to go. Hints: we have to screw tops to the wall for double safety purposes but not the lower part. Picture attached.

This is a really great gate that stays in place best with the wall cups. It works great for my 18 month old son when it's just him. The latch is easy for an adult and really smart 2 1/2 year olds. I had this gate for less than 48 hours and my daughter (the 2 1/2 year old) had figured it out. Now she can let her brother out whenever she feels like it, which is most of the time. I really like this gate and it worked great for BOTH my kids during the first day, but don't let your kids watch you figure out the latch, they will catch on.

This gate came with extensions or expands from 29 inches to 56 inches and stands 30 inches tall! I am in love with the door feature makes it so much easier to come in out of the room and to keep the three kids off the stairs! It is made with metal so it makes it sturdy and is pressure pushed against the wall instead of using screws! Easy to install and take apart! Absolutely love this!
