It was exactly what I was looking for.

I love that this gate is secure and tall. It also has a design that is difficult to climb. We had a cheaper wooden one in the hallway and it was shorter and my son can climb right over it. I also love that it is metal so it is more sturdy and the walk through gate is a great feature for my elderly relatives. Only down side is you have to drill holes in the wall but that is so easy to fix.

I actually got this because of my puppy and it was the Best purchase I could have made. This is so much better then having to go over those other gates or having to take them off when you need to get out of that room. Plus with the other gates my puppy would charge at it and knock it right out.

I bought this gate to keep my puppy in the kitchen when we went out. Unfortunately the puppy was too little and the gaps were too big. I looked all over for something that had the walk through door (making it easier to get in & out) but had smaller gaps, needless to say I could not! I managed to fix the problem with some cardboard until the puppy get a little bigger! I highly recommend this gate, weather it be for a puppy or a child.

This was my second Regalo Gate. I had bought a smaller one for the bottom of my stairs. I had tried a number of other gates but had to take them back, as the bottom has high base board and the tension gates would not work. It worked great so I decided to try a bigger gate for the larger area going into my basement. It too, works great. They open easy so you do not have to try and walk over, like you have to do with some other gates. I would recommend this gate.

This is a good gate .. Made well and strong , we haven't used the wall holders and instead just use it with the tension rod and it's working well to keep our 70 lb lab from getting into other rooms .. Love the door so we don't have to take it the full gate down or hop over it ever time .. Easy to put together .. Fits our larger door opening perfectly

You can pressure mount this gate or wall install. The pressure mount holds well unless you have a child that likes to pull and push on it. It might be able to be moved with enough force. If this is the case use the wall mount. It will stay in place. Easy to open one handed. Tall for older children.

I am using it for a pet gate, with 2 of the extensions. I like the pressure mount, but you do have to be careful going through the gate. If you hit it by accident, it throws off the position of the mounts. I do wish the walk thru gate was slightly larger than it is. Overall, it is just what I was looking for. I haven't had it long, but so far I am very happy with it.

I love the concept of this gate but the pressure mounts dont hold it well and they dont stay tight and slide off door frame the “harware” kit is just little cups you screw in to put the pressure mounts in. But not sure how that will work seeing they dont stay tight. Wish it came with an actual kit to attach the gate to the walls not just put the pressure mount in

I am using this gate to cover a fairly wide door between the living room and kitchen to restrict my two medium sized dogs. The gate has the width to cover the opening but this gate is not stable once it has been installed and the dogs can and have pushed against it and gotten it to flex enough to eventually get it to fall. I previously had a smilar length (slightly more expensive and much better looking!) wooden gate and it was much more solid and stable. It felt much less flimsy. I would still be using that except one of our dogs is a chewer and chewed through a couple of the wooden bars (so much for looking good!). This problem caused my desire for a metal gate since I figured it should be chew proof! On its own this gate is not stable or sturdy enough to do the job! I have little confidence in it! I am using the chwed gate and various other things to try to "stabilize" the gate and keep it standing so it can be used but I have been very disappointed with this gate. The "length extenders" on this gate when installed have too much flex as compared to the other gate I had and this is what is allowing the gate to flex when pushed even a little. I would not recommend this gate! It seems to me that even a child might be able to push it over!
