I bought this lunchbox for my son for lunches at daycare about ten months ago. He LOVES his lunchbox! He is now 19 months old and he’s able to use it with some help to open and close it. It’s easy for him to carry and it’s just the right size to be able to grow with him through school age. About a week ago the clasp of the box broke off when I was packing his lunch- I contacted Bentgo and they responded SO quickly and are replacing it under the 2 year warranty. I really appreciate customer service that ACTUALLY serves its customers.

I love the idea of this box with the ice pack. My pre-k daughter used this for the first time and I was quite disappointed that the ice pack didn’t stay cold very long. Our daughter did not want to eat her warm cheese slices with crackers. Luckily the other items didn’t need too much of a chill to them.

I was so excited to have the ice pack a part of the lunch box & also the great size of the compartments. However, the seal is not as good on this one as the original. Every time I use for yogurt, it leaks. Usually it does stay contained within in outer shell/lunchbox, but leaks from the compartment to the outer edge. I bought two chill boxes & they both leak. I’ve used the original for year & never had this problem, so was disappointed this one didn’t work as well

My preschooler loves it! I thought it would be so convenient to have the lunchbox attached to the bookbag. Unfortunately, her school doesn't permit her to carry her bookbag to the cafeteria. Which defeated the purpose of this particular bookbag. However, she still loves it so we had to purchase the lunch bag to match the bookbag. Not the company's fault just her schools policy. I had a small problem with shipping but the customer service is OUTSTANDING!!!

In 2019 I was looking for a good quality backpack for my two children I came across this website. I was able to order lunch boxes food containers containers. I only wish I had purchased these earlier for my kids. Bentgo boxes became a staple in my house last school year. No concerns about leaking, love that I can pull the tray out and stick it in the dishwasher, and the sizing is perfect for my kids. My kids love the fun colors and the fact that their lunch isn't smashed from their walk to school (kids will be kids, right?). Bentgo has also shown great customer service to me when I reached out to ask a question. Good customer service makes me a loyal customer.

This is a nice backpack. Design is attractive. Bottom storage didn’t work out because items would fall out or items crushed since kids did not always use lunch container. Although, it was a smart innovative way of saving kids/parents energy of looking for additional lunch bag, it didn’t work out well for me. I recommend another alternative for insulated section either on top or in front separate compartment. This is a photo after it has been used. Held up pretty well.

Both my kids LOVE their Bentgo Chill. The fact that the ice box is built in is...a game changer. I was always having to buy ice packs and now that problem is gone. The portion sizes are perfect - both my kids are big eaters and I'm never short for space. The lunchbox is so easy to clean. I'm thrilled with my purchase and a Bentgo user forever more. 5 stars!

I bought this just last month and it just rained here this week, the book bag started reaping an extremely disgusting fish smell when it rained. I have since tried to clean it and it has only gotten worse when exposed to more water. The company claims it’s water resistant and that is not true. It cannot hold any water without smelling like a seafood market. Bentgo seriously needs to look into this!!
