Game-changer! This backpack is lightweight with good back and shoulder support. The zippers are made well, work well, and have gripes (helpful for small hands). The insulated bottom works with both types of Bentgo lunch boxes (with or without the ice trays). Adjustable cup holder for lots of sizes. Lots of compartment space. Brilliant for our kindergartener.

My son has had a smaller bentgo box for the past 3-4 years, but he's going to Jr high so I knew he was going to need a bigger lunch box! I was looking at the other larger capacity options, but went with the Go Max specifically because of the ice tray that it has. I would like the option to buy an extra ice tray for those days my son forgets to take care of it the night before, but the only extras available are for the smaller boxes. SN: this box is quite heavy when just the ice tray is in it, but it still fits in my sons lunch bag so it'll be fine.

This was my kids first time using this Bentgo box with chill pack. I’ve always used the standard one. I really like the built in ice pack. It’s a little difficult opening and closing the lunch container the reason for 3 stars. But overall we like it. And I like the compartments it has in this one. I will probably purchase more for my other two kids in the future.

Super cute, seems sturdy and well-made. But the size. It won't fit a binder without serious wrestling. Kids in the age bracket listed for this bag often have folders and binders and a bag needs to hold them easily. The colors are vibrant and zippers worked easily. The organization pockets were nice - not too many to where things get jumbled, but enough to keep things tidy.

This is the third one that I but, it is excellent size and beautiful model but one day my daughter left it in her backpack for only 2 days and it was so moldy, I tried to wash it several time and I couldn’t removed it so I ended up getting rid of that. It is kind of expensive so be careful with that

Love the print and the idea of the lunchbox on the bottom. I do wish the box part was removable, but knew that it wasn’t before hand so no big deal. The backpack, however, is very small inside and needs to be a couple of inches taller. Right now we have to bend my kiddos take home folder to fit inside and if she wanted to put a sweatshirt or jacket in there it would be full.

I’m not sure if the issue is with the item I received or if it’s just how this product is made, but the inner compartments don’t fit properly. The pieces feel loose and keep shifting, which makes the lunchbox a bit inconvenient to use. I expected the compartments to lock in place, but they don’t sit securely at all.

I did not like this box at all. It was so bulky and heavy. It is very hard to get the ice pack liner separated from the tray. Everything leaks and blends into each side. Crackers got all crumbled on top of the fruit next to it, the divider doesn't do much. I wish I could return it! I am a huge Bentgo fan, but this product was a complete miss. It will live in my cupboard unused. I will keep grabbing my beloved Bentgo snack box wishing it was a little bigger with an ice pack.

I wanted to love this but it just doesn’t work for my daughter. I bought the chill mini and the xl chill but both have the same issues. The tray and ice pack seem to create some sort of suction and it’s almost impossible to get them open. She has commented that if she lets it warm up it seems easier to open but she really doesn’t have the time to wait.

This backpack is way too small for a kindergartener or first grader—I couldn’t even fit a standard binder inside. The design idea is good, but it’s just not practical. What’s really frustrating is that returns aren’t free and are such a hassle, so I’m stuck keeping it even though it doesn’t work for us.
