Although these held up through the entire school year, they don’t even fit a folder in them correctly! Very disappointing design for such an expensive bag.

Wonderful quality. Used the entire school year and held up perfectly. Does not hold a three ring binder well, though. The bag is not deep enough and you have to fight to get the zipper over the corners. Ruins binders/folders.

I love the concept but it is heavy and difficult to close for my 5 year old. It’s durable and looks good but the bottom also sweats a little bit when it has the cold ice pack in it. Wish I hadn’t thrown box etc away because I would have returned for traditional style

Pros: Great size, it really is leak proof, and it looks great, good quality material. Cons: the box is a little heavier than I thought, and after 4 hours in a park with the box under the stroller the grapes were not cold anymore. I’ll try putting the box inside an insulated bag and see if it’ll help.

Compact, adorable, lunch box. The best part is that it has an ice pack incorporated. This allows you to transport it without a lunch bag, which is ideal for "on the go" situations and for teens, who don't want the added bulk of a lunch bag. If they made this in a teen or adult size it would be perfect.

Great for my kindergartener! The bottom lunch holder area takes away from the book bag depth. But she can still carry her home folder back and forth. It can get heavy, since she is in aftercare and takes lunch and snacks. We also go the bento lunchbox too, in hindsight I probably need a separate lunch box for the bentgo and her snacks. We are making it work.

Love the Bentgo lunch boxes and the idea of a built-in ice pack sounded great, but not the most functional to send our toddler to preschool because of its weight. With the ice pack in it, it’s pretty bulky and a bit heavy. Probably perfect for an older child!

I wanted to love this but it just doesn’t work for my daughter. I bought the chill mini and the xl chill but both have the same issues. The tray and ice pack seem to create some sort of suction and it’s almost impossible to get them open. She has commented that if she lets it warm up it seems easier to open but she really doesn’t have the time to wait.

This backpack has worked well as a diaper bag for my one year old! She needs a packed lunch for daycare, and her bentgo box fits perfectly in the bottom- with an ice pack! Her teachers always know where to find her things. I can keep her organized, so they aren’t fishing around her bag for her lunchbox. It also leaves plenty of room for bottles and changes of clothes in the top portion. I’m confident this bag will last her I still preschool!

The lunchbox itself is amazing. Doesn’t leak, seals nicely. Keeps food fresh and the ice pack insert is perfect. Eliminates any issues of food being warm by lunch time! :) my only complaint would be that the grey color scheme stains REALLY easy and is hard to get back to its original color. We love them both but the red and royal blue one doesn’t stain like the grey one.
