We bought this mattress 5 months ago. For the 1st 2 weeks, we could not sleep due to the gas odor. We thought by airing it out, it would go away. It is still extremely bad after all this time. The odor gives us headaches and congestion every night. It is too expensive to throw away, but I am concerned it is dangerous to sleep on. I would not recommend this mattress to anyone. Sam’s certainly should not be selling this mattress.

I inherited the original tempurpedic foam mattresses and loved it. I recently moved and left it behind (EXTREMELY HEAVY). I needed a new bed that wouldn’t break the bank! I purchased this mattress in a box and am so glad I did! I had done research and couldn’t afford the thousands for a comparible type bed and finally decided on this one. I am so glad I did! I will look for this type hands down for any other mattress purchase!

Bought our daughter this mattress (size queen) and the Serta queen foundation. The mattress is only 10”, not 12”. The foundation is 1.5-2” more narrow than the mattress, and it is also shorter than the mattress. Very disappointed since the smaller foundation means less support on the edges and there is a gap the whole around it and the bed frame

I love my mattress. As soon as I felt this mattress in the store I knew my search for the perfect mattress was over. I had to order online and eight days later it was delivered to my porch. It was easy to handle and open. It expanded quickly. Yes I recommend this mattresses. It is the right mix of gel and memory foam. Bought end of November, replacing 12+ year old 14 inch foam from Sams Club. After one month, hurting so bad, every pressure point, we went and bought the 4 inch Foam pad for top. That made it to difficult to roll over! Trying to call, did get Sam's who says ?Serta department will handle?

If no stars were an option, that is what we would give. Me and my partner are both heavy sleepers that have never had any problems sleeping anywhere. That being said, we are now on our 3rd sleepless night. This mattress is like a rock with no give whatsoever. We decided after the 1st night to give it a few more nights to see if we might adapt to it... At this point I don't think it's possible. We had our last mattress for 15 years and it was completely worn out...that one was 5 stars compared to this one. I would strongly suggest looking elsewhere for a mattress.

Bought the Serta 12” Luxury Gel Foam mattress (Queen size) a few weeks ago at Sam’s marvelous $100 discount, and liked it so well that I bought a second one right away for my guest bedroom! Consumer Reports rated this mattress as their #2 Best Buy (Mar 2018) at full price, after exhaustive testing, ahead of much pricier competitors. Comes in a box, easy to unfold once you break the vacuum seal... use a scissors to cut the plastic to avoid accidentally slitting the mattress. No foam odor. Expanded depth is more like 11”. Judge it to be medium firm. After much research, I feel this is the most reasonable, comfortable, portable bed solution!

We have tried this out for a few weeks now. I know it just my opinion, but I was so hoping this would make a difference for me. I’m about 5ft 120 lbs and had a car wreck years ago. I have neck issues and was hoping this would allow me to get a little more sleep. I know it’s not going to fix me, but I need sleep. My neck and shoulders have hurt worse. It’s very firm. It may be my mistake completely, but I really thought this was one of those mattresses that when she lying and it kind of phones in my woods around you. If that’s what you’re looking for this is definitely not the one. Not saying this is not a good mattress for somebody, but I definitely need to do some more research before I go out and shop again. Returning this today.

We've had this mattress for approximately 6 months, and we absolutely love it! I initially was the one having problems with our old, 12-year old innerspring mattress, and started looking for a new one. I was waking up with lower back pain, and sometimes pain in other areas of my back as well. Although it took about a week to get used to this mattress (it almost feels too firm when you first try it out), after this initial period, it's been nothing but perfect. I now wake up with zero pain, and do not wake up in the middle of the night from tossing and turning. I was skeptical about getting a memory foam mattress, but I'm so glad we did. My husband would prefer a bit more plush of a mattress, but he also wakes up with no pain and sleeps well during the night, so no complaints from him either. A quick final note - during my last pregnancy, our old mattress was unbearably uncomfortable. I'm pregnant again and this mattress has been phenomenal - I'm waking up restored and in no pain!

(1) Arrived in a large, tall plain brown box. My concern is that Sam's club sold me returned and/or used mattress. (2) Mattress has a stain on one side. (3) Mattress does not feel like the same model SertaSleepToGo that I purchased and enjoyed twice before. The previous mattresses were in a Serta box with convenient wheels. (4) Sam's Club will not accept a return in the store. They are requiring that I stay home for a pickup. So, I would have to take off from work to return the mattress. I am 100% dissatisfied. Heading over to Sam's Club now to request a full refund for my plus membership.
