This is a difficult item to review because it was such a 'mixed bag.' The cake itself was visually beautiful and the service I received was stellar. Unfortunately, the taste of the cake was very artificial and quite nasty. I knew the cake was going to disappoint my spoiled family who are accustomed to cakes made from scratch using clean ingredients. The service was 5 star, the flavor and texture a zero.

The cake itself was good...tasty, not dry. The decorations were below par. The writing looks like a third grader did it. It ruined the cake's looks. A few months before I ordered this one, the decorations were superb! What a difference with this one.

The cake was fresh and ready on time and easy to pick up. I purchased the marble cake. Everyone seemed to enjoy it. It was a very good price compared with bakeries & other local markets. There was way too much decorative frosting around the base of the cake. It would be nice if there were a few more cake flavor options instead of just the 3. This was for an 80th birthday party for my golfer husband. In spite of the many theme options, there wasn't anything for golfers. I went to the store to order it and was told I could only order it online. So, customer service is limited.

The 5-star rating is for the cake only. As always, it was exactly what I ordered: moist, delicious, and a hit with everyone. Several guests asked where I got it because they enjoyed it so much. However, I have to mention the customer service experience. The woman at the bakery counter seemed bothered by our presence, and the person checking receipts wasn’t much friendlier. I’ve visited this club many times and have always had positive experiences, so this was disappointing. It’s the first time I’ve ever felt compelled to leave a negative comment about any staff member."

The cake tastes good but the icing was not applied well. You could see the crumb coat. Icing was uneven across the cake. Lettering was not uniform and icing colors didn’t really match well. I added sprinkles to cover the bare spots. Probably will not order again.

I order a Cake with my son picture on it and first off it wasn't ready when i got there. Second the picture was die ways. I told the girl about it. She took the cje and tried to fix it but it old got worst. I was so disappointed but i was at the poit where i just took it.

I ordered a chocolate cake. I got a white cake. I ordered two pictures to be scanned on the cake. They missed putting one of the pictures on. There was no time to correct the order so I was stuck with this cake that was not made according to instructions

I ordered 2 sheet cakes one white and one chocolate I know the order was correct but I received 2 white cakes. Since you can no longer order in person but only online I had a copy of the order. However whoever prepared the cakes misread the order, I cannot give this a positive review. These were special event cakes and I was disappointed

Sadly, my cake wasn’t ready when I came to pick it up, the cake I got (marble) was dry. While the bakery help tried SO hard to make the cake what I had asked-it was subpar. There was SOOOOO much icing on it, the border wasn’t what I asked for (blue-she put yellow) and the writing was awful. I hate to give a bad review, but it’s sadly the truth.

The graphic printing machine was malfunctioning and printing wrinkly images, and the bakery did not let me know. They proceeded with the order, and when I picked up the cake, it had a notably low quality graphic but it was too late for me to order from elsewhere. They tried to fix it, but couldn’t do so without making the cake worse. The hand-lettered text was also off-center. I will not order a cake from Sam’s Club again.
