The cake was fresh and ready on time and easy to pick up. I purchased the marble cake. Everyone seemed to enjoy it. It was a very good price compared with bakeries & other local markets. There was way too much decorative frosting around the base of the cake. It would be nice if there were a few more cake flavor options instead of just the 3. This was for an 80th birthday party for my golfer husband. In spite of the many theme options, there wasn't anything for golfers. I went to the store to order it and was told I could only order it online. So, customer service is limited.

Believe all the reviews that specified misspelled names on cakes. My order was for Ellen, but the cake said Allen. Luckily I had taken a picture of the mock-up of the cake, which clearly said Ellen. I waited at least 45 minutes while 3 people in the bakery tried to fix the spelling. Since it was white frosting with chocolate writing, the mistake was clearly visible after being corrected. The good news was that they credited the cost of the cake to my account. The cake itself was good and very pretty (except for the mess of the name).

The cake tastes great! However, it would be much better if there were more opportunities to customize the frosting to whipped instead of buttercream. In the past, I was able to request this customization in store but now that it has to be ordered, I cannot.

The design of the cake looked nothing at all like the picture, the color was off and the writing was horrible and crooked. I probably would of been better off decorating and writing on it myself. It was one of the worst I have ever gotten from there. I gave it a 2 star because of the flavor which never fails.

Overall the cake and frosting was fantastic. the 2 star rating is more for the customization, I had only added words to the cake with no decorations. There is no where to request the size of your message so they just filled the entire top with it. Second we choose black for our wording, once we had the cake home out for the party the next day the black bled so we had streaks of black running all over the top of the cake

I ordered a chocolate cake. I got a white cake. I ordered two pictures to be scanned on the cake. They missed putting one of the pictures on. There was no time to correct the order so I was stuck with this cake that was not made according to instructions

Cake decoration was mediocre- i picked the balloons and the balloons didn't look like round birthday balloons. The writing was mediocre- whoever wrote the birthday message on the cake was skimping on the icing. I had to make them redo the message and make it more festive. The cake was just ok. I will never order a birthday cake from Sam's ever again.

The cake was delicious I would have given this order 5 starts but the customization is no longer what it used to be. All is on line and so you are limited to decorative options. You can only order from what is in the book and the limited colors and toppers given on line.

The cake was a decorated white half sheet cake. The flavor was very good. The decorations were just what I wanted. I got the buttercream icing which was a little too sweet, but I expected that. I prefer the whip cream icing but needed a certain color of green which was not available in the whip cream icing. I was very satisfied with the cake. The prices can't be beat.

I ordered 2 full sheet cakes and one half sheet cake. I called my order in and Alonga assisted me an assured the "Happy 70th Anniversary" script would be written beautifully! And it was!!! I had read some reviews on here about the writing on the cakes and was skeptical to order but Alonga told me she would take care of it and boy she did a great job! Thanks ALONGA! The color, script and flavor was great! Many compliments at the party! Mary
