The cake was dry. The order online only is horrible. You can not change a color of a rose or add sprinkles as that is altering the cake. I had the best luck with Sam's cakes before it went to online only ordering. I ordered 2 cakes. Neither were what I ordered as far as colors. They just aren't the quality that once were!

Ordered 2 cakes online a week before pickup scheduled. Cakes were not ready at pick up time and the order was incorrect. Very upsetting as this was for a church reception, however i will say one was extremely fresh and the wrong one i had to purchase from the shelf was not fresh.

I was hosting a baby shower with only 10 days to prepare. I ordered a yellow frosted cake to add silk flowers to it for decoration. Mom to be’s nursery colors are not in available choices. Cake was just as I wanted and the silk wildflowers looked lovely against the yellow frosting! It tasted great too!

The graphic printing machine was malfunctioning and printing wrinkly images, and the bakery did not let me know. They proceeded with the order, and when I picked up the cake, it had a notably low quality graphic but it was too late for me to order from elsewhere. They tried to fix it, but couldn’t do so without making the cake worse. The hand-lettered text was also off-center. I will not order a cake from Sam’s Club again.

I ordered a chocolate cake. I got a white cake. I ordered two pictures to be scanned on the cake. They missed putting one of the pictures on. There was no time to correct the order so I was stuck with this cake that was not made according to instructions

I ordered a marble cake with chocolate whipped frosting and balloons for an engagement party for my daughter and her fiancé. Everyone and I mean everyone complimented how delicious the cake was and where did I get it. The price is reasonable and the cake is fantastic. Very moist. Not too much frosting, but just enough. It was a big hit.

The cake tastes great! However, it would be much better if there were more opportunities to customize the frosting to whipped instead of buttercream. In the past, I was able to request this customization in store but now that it has to be ordered, I cannot.

The buttercream frosting never forms a crust or gets firm. I am not sure what has changed with their cakes, but highly disappointed. The cake itself was much better than the tiered round cake I've purchased in the past. But the same problem again, with the quality of buttercream or lack there of.

I want to take a moment to recognize an extraordinary Sam's Club Manager in the Bakery department located at 5310 S Rice Ave, Houston, TX 77081. Ms. Cynaree is the very best! You are so very lucky to have an employee like her working for you company. She helped me out with my cakes and cupcakes. Even though what I ordered was simple she still took time to get all my information down and the results were amazing! Thank you so much Cynaree! May God bless you forever!

Believe all the reviews that specified misspelled names on cakes. My order was for Ellen, but the cake said Allen. Luckily I had taken a picture of the mock-up of the cake, which clearly said Ellen. I waited at least 45 minutes while 3 people in the bakery tried to fix the spelling. Since it was white frosting with chocolate writing, the mistake was clearly visible after being corrected. The good news was that they credited the cost of the cake to my account. The cake itself was good and very pretty (except for the mess of the name).
