I was getting this for a 90th Bday I was traveling in from out of town and ordered it online. I just did plain white with white pipping and nothing else for we would be adding our own decorations, this cake was maybe an 1 inch thick if that, it got even smaller on the edges/corners or the cake. Flavor was good and that is the reason I will give it 3 stars. I have bought cakes from Sams before but in California and this one I bought in Santa Fe New Mexico I can say what a difference.

The cake was delicious. Decorations were just as shown on website. The writing we asked for was correct and the cake was ready early --- all great. However, there was one edible decoration on it, a large round ball kind of the size of a BB, that was very hard/crunchy. Some of our older guests or those with sensitive teeth found them off-putting. Many folks made a joke about how they almost broke a tooth when they bit down on them -- they were that hard. People picked them off of their piece at that point. I would avoid those in the future, but other than that one thing, it was great.

Cake was so good. There is one thing they would let people have a choice of different colors for the roses. I was unable to get rose put on my Birthday cake becauae what they had for roses were some weird colora that would not match my colors. Otherwise the cake was so good.

Person I bought the cake for couldn’t eat because hard candy balls and hard sprinkles were put on it. He is in his eighties-not great teeth. I didn’t order the candy & sprinkles. And looking back at the website, there is no provision to ‘not’ order them. Just wanted a basic cake with icing.

I ordered a chocolate cake. I got a white cake. I ordered two pictures to be scanned on the cake. They missed putting one of the pictures on. There was no time to correct the order so I was stuck with this cake that was not made according to instructions

Order was completely wrong I submitted a picture for the cake and not on the cake and order whipped icing and got buttercream. It was a cake for celebration of Life for my father in law. The only thing that was correct was color of icing and the wording Farewell Carlos

I was disappointed that the border and rose colors were so limited online. I changed my theme because my colors were not available. I appreciated having the great color choices in the stores. The bakery staff told me how to order a photo cake online. In addition to the photo, the cake was beautifully decorated and delicious. GREAT JOB TEAM!!!

The cake was great, but stood there almost 5 minutes waiting to get my order. There were 2 women back there,one was sweeping the floor and the other was doing something at the table. Neither one came up until they were done. Really poor service, customers should always come first.I felt they were doing me a favor by waiting on me.

Very good cake, especially for the price point. I removed one star because the process for ordering a cake is now completely online. Previously, you could speak to someone in the bakery department and have more options to design your cake. Now that it's online, the options for personalization are limited.

Taste is great, value is still good but the price has gone up and the options have gone wayyyy down! Used to be able to choose from themes, have a picture put on it, endless options! Now it’s on line, and the price has gone up like everything nowadays!
